To be completely honest I’m super curious…or borderline just nosy. I love hearing people’s stories. They’re always so unique and interesting. So please. If you don’t mind.” she says enthusiastically.

He followed her gestures with his eyes and sat down. When she enthusiastically gave him the green light for his story he got a little nervous. But not nearly nervous enough to keep his story for himself.

‘‘I didn’t always have...’‘ A short pause came up as he shifted his eyes around. ‘‘Powers. They just came one day.’‘ And it almost killed me. ‘’And seeing as I’m the only one in my family who has them, my parents didn’t know how to react.’‘ And they overreacted. ‘‘They decided that staying inside was the best option for me. I never left the house again, not even for school because after that I got homeschooled.’‘ Jeremy’s voice wavered as he didn’t know what to tell next.

‘‘I actually don’t know what to tell you, so maybe if you ask. This might get easier.’‘ He admitted sheepishly.

  Daisy waved a hand in front of her, “Oh yeah, I’m totally fine!” she says with a smile. “I’m pretty indestructible so a little bump isn’t a big deal.” she explains. She holds out a hand, bags still hanging from both arms, in an attempt to shake his hand. “I’m Daisy, by the way. Just got in yesterday. You been here long?” she asks him happily.

‘‘My name is Jeremy Fitzgerald, it’s nice to meet you, ma’am.’‘ He said as he shook her hand. ‘‘As a matter of fact, I’ve been here for a couple of months already.’‘ Oh, how time has raced by without him even noticing. ‘‘Is there anything I can help you with?’‘ He asked since she was new, and she obviously(to him at least) could use some help.

While they were talking the small bunny was hopping restlessly around him. As if to say that they wanted to walk again instead of standing around.

“Hey, you never know who’s story might be pretty close to yours.” she tells him, noticing the look on his face. “There are so many people here. So many powered people. Odds are, someone is feeling the same way you are. You just have to open up to people, and talk. Like you are now.” she tells him with a smile, comforting people had always been a strength of Gwen’s.

Jeremy tilted his head to the side but before he could question her she started talking again. Which was probably for the best as he didn’t know what to ask of her.

‘‘That would be...’‘ Nice? No, but something close to it. ‘‘Comforting. Unlikely, but still comforting to know I’m not alone.’‘ He settled on that and hoped those words were right. ‘‘I suppose you wouldn’t mind if I told you my story now?’‘ He asked as he didn’t want to assume.

Jeremy looked at the man and decided that, physically, everything was alright with him. He barely noticed it when the other lead him to the break room. And he had to shake his head when the other offered him food. ‘’Don’t worry, sir. It’s been.’’ Jeremy stopped to look at the clock. He blinked when he realized that it has been several hours since he ate something. However, he did drink so he decided that everything was alright. ‘’ I just drank water.’’ Plus the only thing he could eat here was the soup, so he decided he could wait until dinner.

Jeremy was walking towards the next hall with patients that needed his help. Fiddling with the buttons of the white doctor’s coat he still wasn’t used wearing he wasn’t paying much attention to where he was walking. That was until he heard someone talk. He looked up as he cocked his head at the man’s words. 

However, confusion didn’t rise until the stranger hugged him. Jeremy blinked at that and tried to remember if he knew the other. Unfortunately one can’t remember someone they never met before so nothing came up. 

‘‘Is everything alright, sir?’‘ He asked with a worried tone. They were at the med-bay after all.

The world casual doesn’t exist in Jeremy’s dictionary. Even if he thinks it does, it doesn’t. If you would add a tie to his outfit he would be fit for almost any formal event.
