You know you're a nurse when

- You are not afraid to climb, kneel or sit on a patient's bed just so you can get them in a comfortable position. 

- You sit on the hospital floor, yes I know this sounds disgusting but so what. If they are not on precautions, then there is no problem. I will not hesitate to sit next to a patient on the floor who has fallen or hurt them selves, i will sit on the floor to tie their shoe laces and if some one has their bed down low I will sit on the floor to get down to their level to talk to them face to face. 

- you wash your hands before and after the toilet

- you can see, hear and smell pretty much everything with out dry reaching

- you get excited over the little things such as new wound dressings, or a stethoscope that actually works
