Abra has never seen a dog before

Part of my series "150 watchers, 150 pokémon" colored from the original sketch here which shows Abra meeting RenderSM of FA's dog, Sir Toby. This is one of those sketches I was very happy to have been asked to color, since it let me clear up one major aspect I felt was confusing about the original sketch: the patches of color on the dog are not zombie patches, that's just how the fur pattern on Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs is. I was prepared for the challenge of shading the dog: the fur in all the reference pictures has no "shading" color, having that glossy sheen instead. I was not prepared for the challenge of shading Abra. The Abra line is one of those where the official online pokédex image colors during Gen 1 all look slightly off compared to the anime, so to color Abra I had to mix colors for a while comparing grainy anime screenshots with the Gen 1 pokédex. I'm standing by my decision to treat Abra's "armor" as rhinoceros plating and the rest as kitten fur. Oh, and I did forget the tail in my original sketch. My bad! But now it's fixed!
