i think i just got a heart attack
i personally love when you’re finally about to fall asleep after hours of trying and then you get jolted awake suddenly by stabbing pains in your heart :))
when i think im having a heart attack but i can’t be sure because it could just be my hypochondriac anxiety
Manu stop plying midfield when people are shooting at your goal 😭
had a cramp in my left thigh, now my bad knee is all in a tizzy, and my left arm is like nerve pinched or something. 😖😖😖
Important Question for Medical Tumblr
What could have caused this thing that happened to me yesterday? To be more specific, I ate 3 small quesadillas and tried 2 or 3 bites of Birra(? I think that's how its spelt) Soup. I felt full and stopped eating. A few moments later, I started experiencing a mild chest pain that escalated very quickly to the point I was writhing and actually screaming in agony. EMS had to take me to the hospital because they couldn't find any abnormalities with my heart, even though it was a sharp, stabbing pain in my center chest as if someone had stabbed into me with a knife. This pain lasted over an hour, and they were about to take me in for an x-ray of my chest but stopped to give me a routine pregnancy test before hand. As I was in the restroom, I did my business in the cup, my chest pain spiking once again to the point I wished it would take my life then so I wouldn't feel it anymore. It was the single worst physical pain I'd ever experienced in my life. I felt weak and nauseated, so I dropped over the toilet on my knees and just ended up drooling excessively for about 5 minutes before I finally vomited. At first, it was very sour, bitter fluid that had many hard bits in it (nothing I had eaten within the last 5 hours had been crunchy, all of it softer foods that shouldn't have felt this hard being regurgitated). I vomited three more times, the consistency getting notably thicker until the last one, which exited as an almost dry, dough-like mass with solid bits that scraped at my throat coming up. It was so thick, and sticky like a dough that I nearly choked on it because it took so long to make it past my windpipe. My chest pain almost immediately stopped, and all I was left with was a raw, sore throat as if I had been screaming bloody murder all day. As I type this, the chest pain has returned (24 hours after it started yesterday) but is much less severe, more of an ache and soreness not unlike the ache and burn in muscles after a long day of working out. My back immediately behind the area of pain feels sore and stiff, I am incredibly tired, and when I get up to move around the ache worsens slightly. I am 21, female, and I have family history of asthma, heart problems, and my mother has acid reflux although I have never had it before to my knowledge. I do have a diagnosis for IBS, which causes some pain and discomfort in my abdomen, but never my chest. I do have a rare, occasional pain or discomfort in my chest that comes and goes for no apparent reason, but it has never come close to this level of pain, and as I said earlier they couldn't find any irregularities with my heart. I tried to Google causes as the hospital couldn't give me any reason for the sudden onset except Birra is spicy (it really wasn't, I've had much spicier foods with no problems) and it could have been that thing when a spicy food or something makes your stomach shift into the diaphragm, but I think that area of the body is a little lower than where my pain actually was, but Google sucks at finding results that aren't heart attack related when you try to figure out causes of chest pain like mine. Notably, non-heart attack related results described "burning pain in chest" as symptoms, but mine was in no way a burning pain. It felt like a sharp, stabbing, ripping/tearing sensation, and in no way burning. Think something like the creature in Alien when they burst through the person's chest. Any ideas as to what it was or what caused it? Why it was relieved so easily after puking the kind of stuff I chucked up? I'm incredibly concerned but nobody was able to tell me anything, and I feel as though the hospital also failed to conduct proper tests (they told me they'd do a blood test but never did, for example.)
