Hey dude sorry if I’m bothering you but is it okay if you Classpect Yugi Muto from Yu-Gi-Oh?
You're absolutely not bothering me! I love getting asks! (Actually answering them takes me a while but don't think that doesn't mean I don't see them)
Yugi Muto is such an interesting pick! Characters don't get much closer than Yugi does with Pharoah. Tho Yugi is also the modern day reincarnation of Atem. Going by normal Homestuck rules, they'd be the same classpect, so really I should be looking for something to fit both of them.
Yugi assembled the Millenium Puzzle box, which revives the spirit of Pharoah Atem and he becomes his human host. From here, Yugi gets through many of the challenges he faces, card game related and otherwise, with Atem's help. Pharoah Atem has amnesia as well as looking damn near identical to Yugi, so the line between them is blurred for a lot of the series. At least in the eyes of onlookers. Over the course of the series the mystery is unraveled and Yugi builds up the confidence which was completely absent at the start of the story. The series ends with the gang sealing away the milenium items and putting the spirits to rest. The catch being thag in order to do so, Pharaoh must lose a duel. Many of the characters jump at the chance to prove that they're a better duelist than him. Instead, we end the series with a duel between Yugi Muto and Pharoah Atem. Yugi defeats him and prpves he doesn't need him anymore, allowing the spirit to rest in peace.
So, with that short summary out of the way: Yugi Muto is a...
Heir Of Heart ❤️
One who inherits [Heart]/is protected by [Heart]
I think this is one of the cases where the obvious pick is.... well, probably correct. Two of the biggest things with the character are Heart of the cards and being possessed by an alternate version of yourself to overcome difficulties. It's hard to ignore. I'd go as far as to say Yugi is a fair poster boy for the classpect. In addition to that, he goes through the whole series using his grandfather's deck! Specifically tying his identity to a pack of cards he inherited from his grandfather pretty much seals the deal for me.
