Hakugan: What kind of experiment?

Penguin: How fast Shachi can find his conditioner.

Bepo:.. Don't tell me you took it again?

Hakugan:.. But aren't you rather conditioning him to find you that way?

Penguin: *grins* Well, it's for research purposes.

*heavy footsteps and yelling in the hallway*

Shachi: *skidding to a stop at the doorframe, looking like a drenched cat* PENGUIN!!! NOW YOU'VE DONE IT!

Penguin: *stopping the watch* Oh, under 7 minutes, that's a new record!

Shachi: I DON'T CARE, GIVE IT BACK, YOU JERK!

Penguin: Yes, yes, I'll help you fix your hair, don't worry. *follows a pouting Shachi*

Hakugan: Is this what they call un-conditional love...?

Bepo: Who knows. I just know I'm not mopping up that water trail...

Penguin: You can't be serious! That's it, we're settling this. Here and now!

Shachi:Oh? You're on! If you lose you have to admit I'm right!

Penguin: Bold of you to assume you stand a chance, I'll make you eat your words!

Shachi: Eat THIS instead!

*an arm wrestling match ensues*

Sabo: Should we settle our earlier dispute like that as well?

Law: Are you insane? I'm never going to arm wrestle you!

Sabo:Aww, don't be like that, dear. Or are you too chicken to try? Afraid you'll have to admit I wasn't being reckless at all?

Law: Don't be ridiculous, you perfectly know you were. I just like to keep my hands functioning, thank you very much. Your grip strength is absurd!

Sabo: *jesting* So you admit it?

Law:.... I hate you.

Sabo: Ahahaha, no you don't. You love me~

Law:.... FINE.

And here's also the thing, I never really thought that Nepeta was shy! I've always just felt that she was awfully brave for things like being able to catpun to people shamelessly (same thing I felt about Feferi lol). I just thought either that she had the good grace to not bring her emotions in where they were unwanted, or that in other cases, she really didn't feel anything about it! Like they were irrelevant to her.

The thing is, if you try to suppress your emotions, after a while it becomes really unclear whether you're just suppressing your emotions or you just don't feel anything at all. And also if Nepeta doesn't say her feelings because she's shy, then we don't really know if she's just not saying things because she's shy, or she just really doesn't feel anything. I would say it's the human condition, if I couldn't also say well obviously, duh.

But I'm realizing that one thing that's really cool about Nepeta is the ability to keep her emotions, and not deny them, but not be overbearing about it. That's a really great thing to be able to do.

I'm really glad that Nepeta got the opportunity to come back to life, and say these things.

I think this is a problem I have, as a Nepeta fan. She’s so likeable, it’s really easy to like her without really knowing her!

I do think, though, that it’s true of Nepeta that she loses herself. She’s a dream machine.
