when I finally realised that my best friend isn’t my best friend anymore it hurt me hard as fuck. And ever since that moment, I haven’t felt complete. It’s like she was a big part of my life and she just took away a big part of who i was.

Her mood soured the moment she spotted them out on the bookstore floor. Knew she should've double checked who'd had RSVP'd to the small book event that her publisher had thrown her. But she really didn't want to make her moment about them. Eden had even tried to avoid them as long as possible, but it shouldn't have surprised her when they ended up face to face eventually. "I cannot believe you're here right now," she said with a shake of her head. "Are you seriously trying to ruin this for me or something? Why are you here?"

“Someone had better be dying for you to be interrupting me.” He said as he looked over his shoulder. It didn’t seem like he was busy, but he was at the moment.

“first of all, i didn’t “miss” the red flags. i looked at them and thought: yeah, that’s sexy.”

his move to slide up alongside her at the bar had almost been imperceptible. he knows for a fact that she had assumed that she had slipped out of the palace unknown, but nothing slipped past his purview, not when it came to her. it was his job to ensure that the princess was kept safe at all cost. she would eventually be required to rise to the throne and she needed to be in one piece to do that. “ head turning, he speaks loud enough so that he can be heard over the loud thrum of bass here in the club. “ you know, i’m starting to understand why your last seven bodyguards decided to quit the job. but if you’re going to want to shake me princess, you’re going to have to work a bit harder, “ theo explained to amaya, his confidence through the roof in this particular moment.
shoulders roll back for a second and then he motions for the bartender’s attention, ordering a moscow mule, before his full attention is turned on the princess with a penchant for mischief. “ listen, i get it. your other bartenders were stuffy assholes with no idea how to have a good time. but that’s not me. you want to go out, i’ll go with you. i’ll keep you safe. but you trying to shake me? that’s not gonna work. “ theo was surprisingly calm for a man who could have lost his job a few minutes ago, however the young man always seemed to maintain an air of calm about him, even in tricky situations. it’s why he’s perfect for work like this. he knows how to keep his head. “ but you’re probably going to ignore everything i’m saying, aren’t you? “

Jax didn’t spend a lot of time getting ready. They knew that he’d psyche himself out if they did. It wasn’t worth it. There were a few bikinis, but he grabbed the first one that was on the top. A black and white polka dot number. Okay, that was neutral and cute. Why did they still care? It was hard to shake that smile that the other had from their head. Truly, it wasn’t fair. Sliding their sandals on, Jax grabbed a quick towel and off they went. Eyes quickly glanced around the small pool when they arrived, he saw no sign of the woman. Quickly he sat down and arranged himself to be more relaxed, albeit a little eye catching if they could as well. As her appearance showed itself not moments later, Jax smiled in her direction. “You found it okay.”

considering she was perhaps the most... palatable member of her band, it made sense that hazel was the one who’d been forced into a PR relationship. that all being said, she couldn’t say that she was pleased about it. “do you not think it’s like... really embarrassing that someone’s job is literally just to follow us around to maybe get a picture of the two of us?” it was her way of trying to be nice; starting a conversation and not ignoring them completely. “i’m not even sure why anyone would care about... this,” she mused, gesturing between them.

A year had passed since the war, slowly things had returned to a sibilance of normal, Susan had decided after her shift at the hospital she wasn’t ready to go home yet, so she went to Diagon alley-- it looked almost as it had before, shop owners had returned and the streets were bustling, there was one shop that she wanted to go to though, a joke shop ran by one of the remaining Weasley’s-- the bell above the door announced her entrance and a familiar redhead walked into her line of vision. “George” Susan greeted, a small smile on her lips as her green eyes studied his face. “You look well, how’s business?”
