yellowjackets new ep came out and it's exactly as expected. lottie becomes a mystery for the white people to solve. even an emotional scene about her relationship with her dad becomes about shauna :/

for REAL. this show hates women of colour so much it makes me sick!!! Lottie's death is just a plot device to make the lives of the white characters more interesting. It's everything I've come to truly disrespect about this show. I'm so sick of tuning in every week only to see white characters given the upmost humanity, even as they erase and dehumanise characters of colour. why the fuck does Tai's scene with her wife and kid become about van? Why are Akilah, Lottle and Travis siphoned off from everyone else? Why is Lottie, even in death, just a plot device? Because this show is racist. I'm so tired.

"come out of the closet, you boys and girls" was the first fic of yours i read and it was so sweet and i was so hooked i on your writing. after that i kept checking your account to see if you had any new fics but i still go back to that one a lot i love it so much

hm I think the real secret of the accidental baby acquisition fic is that I knew exactly nothing about babies when I wrote it, so Adam’s flailing about “what do I do with this tiny human” was very me.

This is -- not quite a life hack, but half of a hack. If your characters don’t know something, there is a certain degree that you can get away with not knowing it, either, and man, do I like exploiting that.

I’ve talked briefly about fandom & my racialized/wlw poetry here, but to expand on that, some of my poems were written for fandoms---you’re right in saying “The Second Secret” was written about Ronan and Adam! If it isn’t about wlw, I don’t mind my love poems being tagged for non-wlw ships. : )

Okay how's this for a theory? Gansey's grumpy friend is Ronan, he and Adam will meet in the present soon (possibly for the wedding?) Also the private scholarship Adam received that he couldn't find any information on was from Ronan.
