Lockbin unaffected by OpenSSL "Heartbleed" bug
Recently it was learned that a bug exists in OpenSSL TLS library. This bug, which is now known as the #Heartbleed bug, can reveal some of your information during an encrypted web browsing session. It's a serious vulnerability that will likely require you to update many of your desktop and mobile apps, since OpenSSL is widely implemented.
We're glad to report that Lockbin was unaffected by the Heartbleed bug. Lockbin uses Microsoft IIS which was not vulnerable to this attack vector, because it does not utilize OpenSSL.
We commend the OpenSSL community and the many software developers who are taking this issue seriously, and reacting quickly to update their software.
At some point in the future, we will probably learn of issues or software bugs that affect Lockbin. We are always on the watch for threats, and we do our best to react quickly and patch all vulnerabilities that we learn of.
