For Alchemy
A package is sent in the mail with a letter affixed to it. Within the package is a Red Magic Flower, Wind Crystal, a Bird’s Feather and a Fugue Mushroom.
Dear Paolo,
I’m writing to send a few things I stumbled upon in the forest for your alchemic endeavors. Joe had a Fugue Mushroom that he wasn’t entirely sure what to do with, so he asked me to include this among the things I sent.
He also wants you to visit sometime, because he misses you terribly.
If you need anything just let me know, half the things I find in the forest I don’t have a use for, so I’m always willing to send things along.
Yours,
Ellen~
Paolo is surprised to see the package lying at the front of the door, and he’s especially more shocked since it came from Arcadia–which he is about to set off to. He reads the letter first and sees it came from Ellen, but Joe--his favorite ‘cousin’--has sent him a little something as well and wanted him to visit.
Paolo resolves to send Ellen a thank you letter when he gets back to Leuda, and also to visit Joe.
Putting the letter aside, Paolo opens the package and takes account of the contents.
[Paolo gained: Red Magic Flower, Wind Crystal, a Bird’s Feather and Fugue Mushroom]
We Finally Meet! || Ellen & Iris
@heartisyoung
Iris had just gotten off the boat of a friendly young pirate and onto the docks of Arcadia. She had been so ecstatic to meet her baker friend that she could hardly stand it! The moment of truth was arriving, and hopefully soon because she had even gone so far as to wear violets in her hair as a hint.
Her present for the other woman was wrapped in her bag along with some other goodies, so all Iris really had to do was wait. She stood beside a lamppost and awaited her new friend. Would they go to the bakery or library first...?
Trade?||Paolo and Ellen
@heartisyoung
Paolo was glad to see the bakery again--it had always been one of his favorite places in Arcadia, and Miss Ellen was always so nice to everyone who came in. Ellen was always collecting flowers and such, so he could be sure that Ellen had a few ingredients that she could trade with him if he showed her the list.
The thing he was not all that fond of was how the counter, just like the counters everywhere else, came up just above his shoulders, forcing himself to clamber to his tiptoes to reach the bell for service.
If he was just liiiittle bit taller this wouldn’t be an issue, but alas, here he was. He rang the bell and waited around for the woman to appear, rifling through his backpack for his little notebook full of the recipes he wanted to try, for his list of ingredients.
Ellen would like to take up a second class, as a Beastmaster along with being a Healer! She would also like to purchase House #5682 as her own home for 30,000G! :')
M’kay! Make sure to update your Biography, as well as the Housing and Class List docs! Thanks for the bank, and enjoy your new home~
Put Ellen and Paolo on the Goddess and God polls respectively!
Kay! They’ve been added.
Help is Sweet || Dylas & Ellen
@heartisyoung
It had been a while since Dylas first started working as a baker. Despite his severe aversion to sweets, he’d grown to tolerate the sweet smell and even managed to successfully eat small (not as sweet) items, like truffles and pudding. Still though, it was extremely difficult for him to put out items quickly, and he often came in early to be able to prepare as mush as the other employees for the day. Recently, he’d begun to question why he even bothered to take a paid job with his weak skill.
With a frustrated sigh, he untied his apron and threw it down onto the kitchen floor. I... I can’t work here. I’m just wasting everyone’s time and money and space. Dylas’ heart sunk at the thought, and his ears bent back in embarrassment.
His steps were heavy and determined, and he found himself at Ellen’s office. He didn’t know her very well, and the idea that this would be his last impression on her was enough to make him sick at himself.
“Ellen... I--- I think I’ll--” Dylas choked at the last of his words, and he could not bring himself to say his resignation to his boss. I-I’m such... an idiot!!
