@heart-on-her-sleeve - On/off again with Matt (off again)
Ella normally ordered her food to go these days, calling the order in through her boss and picking up everyone’s food, but today she was too busy to call it in and she was now too tired to cook so she needed to go grab some food. She mad her was into the Grill, smiling at the other waitress in the room before glancing at the bar. She had hoped Matt wouldn’t be here but he was always working so it was stupid to hope for that in the first place. She softly inquired with the waitress what sections she was working, and no she didn’t want to sit at the bar, before taking her seat at a 2seater in their section. She was looking over the menu when she heard a familiar voice asking her what she wanted, she pressed her lips together in a tight line, eyes fluttering closed for a second before sighing and her eyes guarded as she looked up at her blonde haired ex, responding softly so the rest of the nosey town wouldn’t hear her. “This isn’t your section, I know that for a fact.” It was the first time she’d talked to him in a month, and she managed to keep any venom out of her tone.
