This was one of the wilder shows I’ve been to especially given that The Fame Riot was followed by Thunderpussy. The performance was totally insane and amazing the only downer was that it all kind of unraveled at the very end which was a disappointment until I remembered that this was a trait of so many grunge bands. They’ve described their performances as “theater” which it was to a brilliant tea, fake British accents and all, it was simply that this time the act fell apart toward the end. But that unraveling gave me some great shots. Here a fan in the crowd is trying to heave Liz back onto the sage and though it looks better in black and white, there was so much blood on the guitar that I wanted that to really show. If you haven’t seen The Fame Riot live... they are a must.
