「 ☁ 」— Mild confusion puzzles and weaves through the woman’s features as slender appendages scroll through the fabric of her sweatshirt. It’s been years since they’ve met each other though nothing remains indifferent between them, how long had the days gone by without her not even realizing it. She’s got both her feet against the table, blanket hovering her lap as she longues back against the pillows to a movie long ignored, a tiny glimpse of an excuse for the two of them to get a long day’s conversation going. Seunghyun doesn’t exactly go to Seoul unless it’s a day where he’s on break and lucky for her that day’s tonight because how much had she longed for company to be around.
A dimpled upturn slopes through her mouth and she cocks her head to the side upon his rather snide remark, long tresses falling and curling to frame her head like a silk of curtain. Fingers curl around the tips as they crawl against her roots, threading through each strand as to pull it to one side of her neck. Without much thought she moves around until she’s nuzzled against him, the warmth of his body emitting from him to hers, regardless of just his arm merely touching hers. Comfortably resting beside him, she inquired with a curious smirk, ❝ Uh-huh. Entertain me and cite me the difference between them because honestly, you seem to be doing both to everyone each time. ❞
Because contrary to belief, Fran could hardly recall a time when he wasn’t neither charming or sincere.
“You took that seriously?” says Seunghyun over his shoulder, something like a smile crosses his sharp feature; followed with a chuckle he hides behind his fist. Francesca, always with the compliments, he thought. He made the right choice by visiting his dear friend. Out of everyone he knows in town, he can always count on this girl to light a little smile on his face; considering smiling is not one of the things that he does too often, and it is also not in his job requirements list.
“If by sincere you mean never sugar coat everything I say, resulting me being some kind of an asshole, then okay, you’re right?” he cracks another chuckle, but this time it’s softer—bitter more precisely, mostly because he admits of being too vulgar with his words at times. “How about you tell me?” he shifts his attention towards the female beside him, there is nothing to watch on TV anyway. “When was I ever sincere? Because that word seems to be a little vague to me.” he continues shortly after with his face still facing hers, moving nothing but his lips to speak.
