Agreeing to a horror movie marathon didn’t only seem like a dumb idea beforehand, it also turned out to be a horrible one whilst Yoona was at it. She should have just straight out told Seunghyun that she was terrified of anything close to horror and couldn’t bear watching such movies at all, and they would have surely settled for something else.
But now there she was, clinging to Seunghyun and hiding her face in his shoulder most of the time. At least her whimpers were covered up by the loud screams of the victims, yet that could not hide her death grip on his shoulder. Yoona definitely felt embarrassed when he spoke up, and, albeit reluctantly, decided to let go of him and curl up on the other side of the couch instead.
“Sorry. I might have forgotten to mention that I am absolutely terrified of anything and thus am terribly bother some to watch a horror movie with. I’ll try my best to stay composed for the remaining minutes. I mean, it’ll hopefully be over soon, right??? Right????????”
Being a close cousin of Choi Sooyoung, one of the members of the nation’s best girl group had its own perks. Not once or twice that he had met famous idols, actresses, and actors because of his cousin, had backstage passes to his favorite bands, or just simply known as her cousin. It opened so many doors for him. And he was not complaining, clearly. Thanks to Sooyoung he now had amazing friends in Seoul. Yoona, for example. They’d became close nowadays since he had been spending his time there during winter to see his friends.
“What do you mean over soon? It’s only been 20 minutes-- see, no one’s even dead yet.” he pointed his curled hand (filled with popcorn) to the TV, his mouth was busy munching. “Seriously, you’ve performed in front of billion of people in heels. That’s scarier than horror movies!" he then grabbed the remote to pause the movie. "Come on, I'm not gonna watch it if you keep on hiding behind my back."
