No quiero perder.

Todos estamos expuestos a perder:

La dignidad, el tiempo, amor, un trabajo, dinero, personas, TODO.

Estar totalmente jodido de intentos anteriores, hecho mierda, pero tú no tienes la culpa por eso voy a ti con todo, a darlo todo.

Los primeros indicios me dan señales de poder avanzar, entrar, no estoy alerta, solo confío en ti, daré todo de mi, solo espero no volver a perder.

De amor no muere nadie... ¿O sí?

I want to write a poem bout the light But I am too distracted by last night I’m certain that I did the thing that’s right So why’s the grip of regret holding tight? The light reminded me of hope and truth That I can give my life to you as proof No longer floating aimlessly aloof Still young but undeserving of reproof Will nightmares overshadow all my dreams? We said goodbye for now,

you above the clouds to nurture your roots

me surrounded by mysteries slowly unraveling in the candlelight

We both have to face our challenges, that is true. Just know that once you are ready, I’ll be right here waiting for you

Waves

Ripples refract the surface, 

amplified the current pushes and pulls.

Floating through the world of interwoven blue,  

in its embrace, it is relief which flows through my veins.

Storms raging above do not sound so threatening anymore,

here underneath the waves.

Start Again

Pressure, like a shadow, traces every step, every move, every thought. When all you want is release, you try the light, try the dark, try it all. Attempting to outrun the shadows, the drift from all that once was you is inevitable on this wire, where each step forward is done so in fear of falling down.

Close your eyes, take a breath, and remember

You are not the shadows, they do not define you. You define you. What you choose, each and every time that defines you. You are not a puppet in their show, but a dancer freed from the strings.
