Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Pound Beef Stew Meat 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder Salt & Pepper, to taste 1 10.5 Ounce Can French Onion Soup 3 Cups Beef Broth 12 Ounces Egg Noodles 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese 1 Cup French Fried Onions Instructions: Heat Olive Oil: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the Beef: Add the beef stew meat and season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the beef is seared on all sides. Simmer with Soup and Broth: Add the French onion soup and beef broth to the pot. Bring to a simmer and let the beef cook on low for 10 minutes. Cook the Noodles: Add the egg noodles to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender. Add Dairy: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Serve: Sprinkle with French fried onions as desired before serving. Serving Suggestions: Enjoy this hearty dish as a main course for a comforting dinner. This slow cooker roast with root vegetables is a hearty and comforting meal that practically cooks itself. Tender beef chuck roast pairs perfectly with the earthy flavors of potatoes, carrots, and onions, all infused with savory broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Ingredients: 1 3 to 4 pound beef chuck roast. 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks. 4 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks. 2 onions, sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup beef broth. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 2 teaspoons dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper, and thyme. Place the potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the seasoned chuck roast on top of the vegetables. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Once cooked, remove the roast and vegetables from the slow cooker and let rest for a few minutes. Slice the roast and serve with the vegetables and juices from the slow cooker.
