The Undervale has stood long enough to see many falls. To see many who drag on, many who bleed out at the bottom of a hole, many who jump in and are surprised by the solid earth beneath them when they do. If there’s one clear rule, it’s this - once you start falling, it’s near impossible to stop. Despite the magnitude of instances, the Undervale is not a good place to fall. There’s no soft landing, no gentle ground. No soil, only stone. Nevertheless, as the Undervale continues to stand, as it grows ever older, collects moss and vines, sinks into the grounds, it sees the two of them fall. Intertwined, would together, they fall in near-perfect sync - Esther all wild adventures and back alleys that she begins to lead them down before she realizes where they lead, Heather content to follow her, seeing the destination before anyone else has a clue.
