I don’t know the name of the song that plays during that chenford scene in the final but the choice is absolutely immaculate because it is in fact a moment where they’re feeling on top of the world and the song distorting as soon as they get drugged is also such an immaculate little choice detail

SIxty-nine

Ever since Heath abandoned his pursuit of his unrequited love for his friend Skye, he has been focused on spending time with his family. He's even resolved his work rivalry and has been making friends at work. It may have taken him until he was middle-aged, but Heath has finally come into his own. He feels much more comfortable with himself and, as a result, much more comfortable being around other people.

Aly and her cousin Alexia have the same elementary school teacher and have become quite close. Alexia is frequently coming over after school to swing with Aly and play in the backyard.

Luciano, Heath, and Craig have all been enjoying the new half-basketball court in the backyard.

With the family growing and all three adults doing well at their jobs, it seems like a good time to give the ole house a remodel! Heath is a bit emotional to change the house he raised his sisters in after his parents' deaths, but he knows it's time.

The new house from the outside, including Brielle's greenhouse in the front garden.

The family has made the unusual choice to put the bedrooms on the bottom floor of the house and the living spaces on the second floor.

Heath got a promotion! He selects the Space Ranger branch, obviously. He's still hoping to maybe make a connection to his alien heritage. Perhaps even connect to an alien family member!

Heath has been having a hard time at work. He has a rival he can't seem to get to like him, and he doesn't have any friends. So when the boss tells Heath they have a new astronaut joining the program, he's really hoping to make a new friend.

Despite his social awkwardness, he seems to make a good impression on his new coworker! He's excited to have pleased his boss, but even more excited to have a new friend.

Speaking of that work rivalry...

Heath swears he had nothing to do with it! He was killing Will with Kindness, not anything actually lethal! He doesn't attend the funeral, though.

Heath has gone on another journey in space!

Heath gets a message! He goes to check out the issue immediately.

Okay, strange. He wasn't expecting this. He decides to suit up and exit his rocket ship to try and clean off the satellite. Sims need their cell phone data coverage!

Weird. Not what he was expecting, but a pleasant surprise! Of course he takes some back to his spaceship, thinking the kids at home might like it. But then, something else unexpected happens!

Heath hasn't updated his rocket yet to have the super ion cannons, so he's lucky to get out of this sticky situation! He returns home safe and sound.
