Hello! I was seeing if anyone had anything the bridging scholarship tag and I saw that you posted that you received it last year! I heard that it's extremely hard to get but my sensei is recommending it to me to fill out. I was just wondering if you had any sort of advice on what you think made you receive it that might give me a tip on what I should lean towards doing on that application and essay. thanks for any help! :)
I would definitely recommend going for it. You never know! I didn't expect to get it, and I was really excited when I did! I would say that whenever you're applying for something to check out the organization in as much detail as possible, and to personalize your essay to what the organization wants. This goes for anytime you're writing someone - for a grant, applying for job, you name it. Check out what the AATJ values and make sure to cover that. I would also say to show your passion. Show that you really care about making a difference and how their scholarship can help you. Finally, I don't remember what the specific question was, but always try to answer what they're asking. It's good to get to the point and refer back to the question to guide your response. Hope that helps, good luck!!
