So many people are complaining that Riverdale changed the lyrics of the Heathers' songs as if they had done that. In case you don't know, they weren't responsible for the changes - they simply used the script from Heathers 101, a revised version of the musical for High School. It's actually available online, in case you're curious to see more. 😊

So my school is doing a production of Heathers and the rehearsals have some JEMS

- Literally everyone backstage during Big Fun does the most ridiculous dancing you've ever seen - Kurt and Ram did some highland dancing on the highest point of the set it was great - JD went up on stage alone when our manager was busy and stated vogueing at us. There were a lot of whistles. - Someone missed their cue to come on because they were too busy examining the full-on Humpty-Dumpty costume backstage - I also missed my cue because I found a copy of Macbeth and was too engrossed in it to hear the music change. And by missed my cue I mean I DIDN'T REALIZE I SHOULD BE ON UNTIL THE SCENE WAS OVER. - Big Bud Dean is also playing a Highschool student - He likes to go around and mutter ‘Hello kiddies’ in a super low voice next to someone's ear while rehearsing Beautiful. - When asked what character types the ensemble would be, a (straight) friend of mine shouted ‘I’M THE ATHLETE LESBIAN’. - Martha started breakdancing - Big Bud Dean put on a Scottish accent and didn't drop it for ten minutes - One of the ‘Republican Kids’ broke the set. Many political jokes were made. - The Heathers are still allowed to say ‘bitch’ in one song (It’s the Highschool version), and they fucking EMBRACE IT. - THIS ISN'T A HUMOR ONE BUT MCNAMARA DANCES IN HEELS AND SHOULD BE WORSHIPED - Every time JD and Veronica have to kiss in rehearsals, they just squish each other's faces and yell ‘KISS’ right at each other. - Kurt and Ram do a Keg Stand and there have been injuries.
