Heatherwing is a lilac colored she-cat with brown eyes. She is a Guard and Fighting warrior of Grassclan

Heatherwing’s head shape is similar to her older sister Cricketsong, and her nieces Tulippaw and Lilacpaw

She has her sister Chicorynose’s eye shape

It might be a little hard to see but there’s a wing pattern on her back

Some doodles between commissions. Selja is taller than her mom, and Heatherwing is mesmerized by a dead meme.

Heatherwing had been thru so much in her short life.

Her mother died when she was two moons old to greencough, followed by her father who died from a broken heart. Then in the middle of her apprenticeship, Waspwing-her mentor- is poisoned. This results in Heatherpaw being reassigned to another warrior. Then her new mentor dies from having a seizure (when really he was poisoned too!) And then, when Heatherwing thought her life was getting better, just after she'd found out she was going to have a family with the tom she loves-her life is cut short. She dies a horrible death, with her unborn kits perishing with her.

Honest to god I didn't intend for her life to be so tragic. She's just a background character I never really had much plans for. Heatherwing, baby, I'm sorry.

Inktober/OCtober Day 10: Some apprentices!

Heatherpaw is another one of Sagehare’s foundling kits. She joined TunnelClan when she was four moons old. Rosesong, with her own kittypet background, was chosen as her mentor.

Fernpaw is apprenticed to Waspbelly and is Sparrowstorm’s baby brother. Their father, Duststone, had been killed on the Thunderpath and Fernpaw never met him. Their mother, Hazelfur, was killed when the nursery tunnel flooded during a flash flood when Fernpaw was two moons old.
