Heaven Variant is an unreleased indie shoot 'em up video game that had a wealth of music left behind. The album now functions as a tribute to the "shmup" scene of yesteryear, fully embracing the classic shoot 'em up sound popular from the 1990s. The music combines many genres including rock, metal, funk, orchestral, electronica, chiptune, and pop all of which blend into an unapologetic retro homage to the golden age of Japanese shoot 'em ups. Call me nuts if you like but this song is SO Rise Raphael! Strong beat, nice rhythm and some cute little higher sounds. Instantly, in first seconds, when I heard this for the first time, Rise Raph hit my mind. I also can see him dancing this song on dance mat 8D <3
