Perhaps it was the better part of his days, long days held in the castle of Nohr. The days where he witnesses the young princess, manages to see her when he can. She was always so happy, wasn’t she? Perhaps her happiness rubs off on him, making him smile at just how cheerful the young princess Elise truly is. It was something for him to look forward to, the times she comes to say hello and he makes it a habit to talk when he can.
She was the light in this dreary place.
“I really appreciate it y’know, when ya’ come t’ say hi t’ me.”
“ Elise~! ” The princess smiled brightly as she rushed towards the other’s room, hand running lightly against the wall as she went. One doorway... two doorway... three doorway... Elise! “ Elise, it’s a beautiful day out. Did ya wanna sneak out with me? Even for an hour? ” Madea looked hopeful as her green eyes sparkled with excitement.

❝I have to ask, how do I exactly come in the picture, Lady Elise?❝ It certainly was quite a bizarre situation to find himself in. Shura had just recently joined Kamui’s army upon leaving the tower of the Sevenfold Sanctuary. Though, never would have he expected that the nobles of both Hoshido and Nohr were in their fold. The very notion only was inconceivable. To think that they managed to get nobles from two nations to stop lunging at each other’s throats. Now he found himself speaking with the young princess of Nohr. Even on reaction he was tense, he was certain that she wouldn’t have recognized him. Still showed some apprehension for the princesses sake. For someone so bright and vivacious as her, it would be a sin to taint such reputation by being near her.
