AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! YAY!!! YAY!!!! MUSIC AND BYLER!!!! Hehehe, this ask makes me so happy- I'm unfortunately probably not super qualified to answer this, but I've got some very fun recs I hope you'll like :3
I love a lot of songs from Tears for Fears for Byler, specifically :
-Shout (1984) I had actually planned to use this one for a fic, but I don't think I'll end up doing anything with it, haha-
-Head over Heels (1984) ooooooh this one just scratches my brain right 🙏
And of course, The Smiths- a classic, especially for Mike, lmao :') I might be biased just because I love the music so much, but nevertheless!
-Heaven knows I'm miserable now (1984) Stunning song, oof- I almost always have this one on repeat, it's been a personal favorite for years <3 Definitely serves yearning epilogue Mike, so if you're vibing with that for your fic I would highly suggest this!
-Please, please, please, let me get what I want (1984)
-There is a light that never goes out (1986) another drop dead stunner, and what originally introduced me to the smiths!! I love this one for them so much-
-I won't share you (1987, a bit later, so def epilogue byler-)

-Friday I'm in love - the cure (1992, even though this one is past canon I'll still recommend it in case your fic goes into epilogue :))
An of course you have classics like Heroes, Boys dont cry, and Are Friends Electric? which are all so incredible, but I figured you'd want a couple different ones <33
