it wasn’t often that he got time to himself. so today was like any other, he’d take the time to head out and shop for a bit. he enjoyed the fact that he could treat himself to various things, any sort of outfit, any accessories. it was his dream come true from back when he was younger and thought about being a king or something. this was the closest he ever got. looking to pay, it comes to his attention that the male in front of him seems to be short a few dollars. might as well get in his good karma for the day and step forth since this cashier didn’t seem to be showing any sort of mercy. “ here, let me pay for the rest. i always get this one and he’s not to friendly is he ?? ” the boy questions with a smile as he pulls out his wallet and drops down the desired amount. turning back to the other as he lifts his own clothing items up on the small area in preparation to pay for them. “ just so you know, you don’t owe me anything. it’s the least i could do for you. ” he states with a wink to follow.

The evening had already gone on longer than Christian had intended. A simple drink to introduce Angel to a few of his close friends turned into dinner with a few more, and now the idea of going out dancing was playing on the table. Most of the demons friends were thirty five and over, Angel was easily the youngest person there and Christian felt like an absolute God with the beautiful man at his side. It’s not as if his friends hadn’t met one of the many young people that Christian had dated before, and it’s not as if any of those people were ugly by any means, but Angel blew them all out of the water and his friends noticed it just as much as he did. There was a fair amount of laughter and commotion happening as the older man slipped his hand under the table, placing it all too high up onto Angels thigh. “Having fun yet?” He whispered over to him. “I think they all like you.”

“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this shit,” Andre grumbled as he leaned over on the bench so he could lace up his skates. Angel had been asking for the longest time to go ice skating, and Andre finally relented and decided to take him one night after Tahj went out of town for something business related. He didn’t know why he didn’t just wait until the older male come back and stick him with the job of taking Angel ice skating, but he knew that the younger male wouldn’t stop asking and that it would make him happy. “Why did you have to want to do something that involves freezing my ass off?”

Tommy had asked Angel on a first date a few months ago. He had been honest with the other omega, that he was in a loving relationship, but with Bran working so hard he liked to have some company. His alpha had agreed to him searching for another omega he liked and Tommy had quickly set his sights on Angel, one of his co-workers at the gym. That turned out great and Tommy had decided to let Angel meet his alpha, hoping they would get along as well.
“So...” Tommy began as he grasped Angel’s hand in his. They had met up at a café not too far from Bran’s tattoo parlour. “I told Bran about you wanting to meet him and he’s excited about it to finally see you. I might have... been talking about you a lot.” Tommy smiled at Angel. “If you’re sure you want this too than we can go and see him.”

“I’m really not in the mood to do anything right now,” he paused, “besides sleep. I have a huge migraine and an early start tomorrow morning, so if you don’t mind, I’d rather just eat and take as many Tylenol as I can before crawling into bed and passing out.”

“Can you stop fidgeting? I swear you’re worse than a little kid.” Tahj frowned at Andre. The two of them had decided to take Angel out to dinner as a part of their Valentine’s Day gift to him, and they hadn’t been there for longer than fifteen minutes before Andre had started being difficult. Although Tahj was sure it was unintentional, that didn’t make it any less annoying and irritating to see him move around so much when they were sitting at the table and getting ready to eat.
If you knew Andre, you knew that if there was one thing he hated, it was wearing a suit. Sure they looked nice and he liked the way he looked in them, although he liked the way he looked in everything, but they were too tight and constricting and he hated how they felt around his neck. He was always at his most comfortable in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt or a pair of sweatpants, but apparently it would have been inappropriate to wear that to dinner. “I told you that I ain’t wanna wear this shit. Now you gotta deal with me fidgeting,” he tugged at his collar.

He’s unable to shake the nightmares, no matter how much sleeping medication the therapist provides. They’re talking about hospitalizing him, it’s so bad. But he can’t think about being away from Seb for that long.
But Seb has a point. He looks really bad, and he knows it. Angel sighs, gentle and soft, and curls up tighter on the couch. His body has wrapped around a stuffed teddy bear, and Tigger and Pooh are curled up behind his legs, but he still feels cold. He’s under a wool blanket in the heat of summer and he’s still cold.
He waves the other over, silently but needy.
“I do-don’t-t wa-wan-nt to, to go aw-away. I do-don’t-t wa-want-t to, to g-go to the, the hosp-hospit-tal aga-again. I ju-just-t wa-want-t to, to st-stay here an-and-d no-not-t have ni-night-tmares.”
Seeing Angel like this was killing him. There was nothing that he could do to help the other boy, but he tried as much as he could. He’d put on those calming documentary that Angel loved to watch before they went to bed, tried snuggling the boy even more than he already did, researched ways to help someone with nightmares, and obviously the other boy tried to get help from meds, but nothing worked.
He kneeled down next to the couch when Angel waved him over, and his hand carefully ran through his boyfriend’s hair. “I know you don’t, baby. I know..” He says softly. It made his heart sink to think about Angel being hospitalized again, but if it was going to help him then this wasn’t the time for him to be selfish.
“You know I’m going to respect your choice no matter what you decide to do..” He starts, just making sure to reiterate that fact, “.. but I think if this is going to help you than I think you should.” He keeps his hand moving in Angel’s hair at a constant, slow speed, “I... I just hate seeing you like this.”
