g O D laura!!!!! lauraaaa!! honestly she’s so much! our beautiful tiny gay protag. she’s got such a strong sense of self and drive to do more, to discover and learn and push and like it’s been breaking my heart to see this season just grind down on her so much (tho i will say, again, i think bauman’s been killing it. like there’s this edge of panic in her performance in these later eps that really gets to me) i guess that sorta answers my fave?? tho i also super adore mattie (WASTED! POTENTIAL! LITERALLY! I AM SPITTING! like…… im secretly believing she ain’t dead bc….wtf @ the writers u cannot throw away such a richly layered and fascinating character. like she got more development in a few episodes than i feel like danny did over a two seasons. like?? what the fuck?? you killed off this murderous, deeply loving, frighteningly intelligent, party girl vampire with a political strategist’s mind and a moral compass made of taffy for?? carmilla to cry about it?? lmao bye) and danny (MY SWEETEST DARLING! come back to me u fierce, brave girl ;__;)

as for pairings: i do love laura/carm, and laura/danny/carm (why kill off ur other romantic lead when ot3???). laf/perry obvs. mattie/me tbh. mel/danny SO MUCH enemies to friends to lovers all the way. ALSO my sweetest, totally underrated ship: laf/laura. the ultimate cutie pies, they would be so good together ;;;
