Samandestiel AU: Family Business

Samandriel Milton's father died when he was a toddler, leaving their family with bills and enemies. When he graduates from high school his mother and sister both beg him to leave the city, to go to college and start a life of his own. But he can't do that. They don't have the money, and he can't just leave them behind. So he calls the one person he thinks can help: his Uncle Bartholomew.

Uncle Bart is quick to welcome him into the fold, the "family business" as it's called. When his mother and sister find out they're both furious, going so far as to kick him out of their house. Samandriel doesn't know how to tell them not to worry about him. He's made quick friends in high places, and he knows for a fact that Dean and Cas would never tolerate him being hurt on the job.
