Basically evaporating take here but:

If someone's complaining/upset about their lack of talent in a certain area, and your response is something along the lines of "but you're so good at [a different thing]" or "well it doesn't matter because you're so good at [a different thing]" then congrats, you just hurt, or depending on how often this happens, completely ruined their desire to be good at that second thing. Maybe they even hate it now, or wish they weren't even good at it. So maybe don't do that shit.
