5, 18, 28, and 29 for the game asks! โจ
A popular series/game you just canโt get into no matter how much you try?
Mass Effect, I reckon. Played the whole first game and it really didn't stick. And Pokรฉmon?
A game you wish your friends knew about?
So there's this little game called Ghost Trick...
Which characterโs clothes do you wish you owned the most?
In addition to my previous reply, something from Saga... Kobayashi's work is something else, and Naora followed suit, they're all SO pretty. Or the quintessential Ueda protag look! Or Kalas batenkaitos, now that's a JRPG protag who knew how to dress... the Hylics interludes fellow also knows how to leave an impression...
Which is more important, gameplay or story?
Oh boy. Gameplay. It's a video game. If it's not doing anything interesting with its interactivity (and I use the term in its loosest sense, including walking sims, interactive fiction, artsy experiments...) it should maybe consider being something else, like a novel, a movie or a wikipedia entry. I like it when there is a story (I struggle a bit with pure decontextualized puzzle games, for example) and I like it to be... not a bad story... perhaps even a good story if I'm feeling particularly entitled... but I'm perfectly fine with games having the most minimalistic plots known to man. Monument Valley 1 is pretty much my gold standard in this respect.
