Omega Dunk my beloved.

I'm just dotting down some thoughts of omega Dunk because he is the loml and deserves to be cherished.

(These are headcannons and some of them don't have to correlate to each other at all)

1. When he's in heat instead of being whiny or in need of an Alpha i want him to be absolutely feral about protecting his pup (Egg currently but as soon as he's introduced to all the other baby Maekerling's or Baelorling's. He's mama bear 3000) so instead of being horny he's just like "Where tf is my child and why tf are all these annoying ass alphas here instead of my child? My baby?" Cue him getting up and bodily picking up all the alphas pursuing him and manhandling them out of the way so he can go in search for his baby so they can build a nest and cuddle. I like to think Ser Arlan never let him settle during his heat so he just had a bunch of assholes tryna alpha voice him into submission, so Dunk is more or less immune to most if not all commands. Maybe when he's more settled down the line he may let the babies leave the nest and allow his alpha's/or lucky beta's into the nest to either cuddle or mate.

2. When Egg is in distress I want him to go full attack mode like all the Omega warriors told in history or stories. Like just scuffing a person by their neck and shaking them like a dog with a bone and pressing down on their glands and pushing his own aggressive scent into them it causes them to whimper and shake and just go lax in his hold, being so scary and intimidating that the people in the general vicinity are all just like oop gotta go🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️we can't see a damn thing what do you mean a man was maimed by an Omega for being mean to his bald little pup ? Never happened.

3. He's an early bloomer, like you can't look at this big hunk of a man and not think he developed earlier on in life (Especially if Arlan was feeding him regularly. So from going to scraping by on leftovers and bowls of brown to salt beef and maybe the occasional feast when Arlan was employed). When he got his first heat Arlan and him were in an inn or bar, he got surrounded and fought his way out. They left pretty quick and found a cave or an abandoned house for Dunk to get through the rest of his heat. Arlan left food and water for him and stood guard.

4. Rafe lives and Dunk has his heat in Fleabottom she fights a bunch of people and kills many others, when all is said and done she fairies him away from Kings landing because obviously Gold cloaks and the city guard are gonna investigate a huge mass killing or maiming. So she packs up all their things and they meet Arlan on the road. They both squire for him and she's either another Omega, Beta or Alpha (Leaning more towards Alpha, she's very protective and very aggressive to protect her only family but so are Omegas who are threatened so hey its up for grabs 🤷🏽‍♀️).

5. Dorne Omegas are considered lethal and beautiful, skilled in both seduction and fighting. Their the closest things to legendary Omegas in history and story, anyone who meets them have a hard time walking away intact (They could of been banged or bashed, do a coin toss to decide) When Dunk and Egg go to Dorne and everyone sees them they all have to do a double take because ??? Who is this tall creature and does he have a mate or spouse ? Is he open minded and curious enough to try the local cuisine 🫣🤔 Does he really want an adventure or is he just adventurous. Their all enamoured and pretty soon a little bit in love by his chivalry and kindness. Egg is fending off suitors every which way (His ser must be wined and dined and given only the best).

6. His scent varies maybe oaky moss and pine or rain and dirt but like fertile dirt ? If that makes sense. Like just very nature inspired and people don't realise it's him until he leaves a tent or room and takes his scent with him. I like to think it feels like a blanket wrapped around you and its just very calming for people. Egg especially likes to rest his head against Dunk's glands at his neck or rest his head at Dunk's heart to listen to it beat with Dunk's wrist within his hold.

7. Dunk doesn't even try to hide his presentation, the Mother blessed him and anyone who try's to stop him from being a knight will have to physically try to stop him because why are you a knight with years of experience in battle and knighthood threatened by Dunk? Because he's better? Because he looks like he could throw you through a wall ? Because you know he's everything you're supposed to represent? Tough luck. He's gonna be a knight, and you're gonna have to deal with it. Dunk knows he isn't weak because of his Omega status. He's strong because of it! All the things he's been through and they think being an Omega is gonna faze him nuh uh 🤧 he's strong by the experiences he has been put in and all the better for it. They shaped him up to the person he is. Kind and strong 💪 all the best qualities for a true knight. He's mother and warrior blessed.

8. Dunk doesn't know how to read, and he definitely doesn't know any courting rituals (Fleabottom citizens don't have any traditions or rituals. Only the high born royals do) since Egg is so young he was never told about any rituals either they were waiting for him to get a little bit older and to get his own presentation. So when Alphas do their little dances or gift giving or courting jewellery or scent marking or declarations of love and loyalty. Dunk and Egg both have no clue whatsoever about what the hell their all doing, so they just assume the Alphas are being weirdly friendly. Too friendly... Egg put the knife away.

9. Maybe from being smacked around by Arlan alot in his youth or getting into fights and breaking his nose, Dunk is a bit scent blind so he has no clue what a person's presentation is unless they tell him. So he's just walking around clueless about the fact that he has a bunch of scent marks claiming him or warding people away from him. Egg makes the executive decision to ignore it and move on.

10. I'd very much like for him to have boobs. His alphas should be able to grab a handful of them and squish them up against each other. Send tweet.

So yeah, here are some of the thoughts floating about in my noggin. I just really love tall, strong Omegas. I especially love tall, strong Omega Dunk.

Age reversal and omegaverse au, Dunk is older and is the half brother to Daeron the good. They grow up together, Dunk is his good brother alongside Brynden Rivers, they train together, learn letters and numbers together and even share all their worries and fears with one another. Daeron names him his sword and they are always seen in each other's company, sharing stories and telling jokes. Daeron names him Ser Duncan the Tall and says he is the people's champion.

Dunk is there when Daeron II Targaryen marries Myriah Martell. He is present when Baelor, Aerys, Rhaegal, and Maeker are born. He saw them through their infancy, childhood and then their teenage faze eventually he saw them as men grown.

Unfortunately his nephews inherited their Targaryen inclination towards family members, in particular, Dunk himself. Dunk is as always oblivious when it comes to romantic overtures.

It starts with Baelor saying when he is older he will marry Dunk and make him a proper Targaryen wife, then Aerys says he'll accompany Dunk into the shared bathing quarters and read to him, Rhaegal drags Dunk into dancing and making merry all the time, Maeker challenges him everyday and is relentless in making Dunk cross swords with him. Dunk just thinks their being good Targaryen Princes and that they like to keep up with their family members in all manner of ways, he does not notice when they start marking him in their scents or when other courtiers get scared away from their overzealous peacocking.

Daeron is the one who gets to spend the most time with Dunk obviously and his children think that it is extremely unfair (screw the fact that he is king, am I right? His children think so) they whine and throw tantrums whenever Dunk is away for too long (going on political journeys to settle disputes or beat down any Blackfyre riots). When Dunk comes back his time is completely monopolised by Daeron, Myriah and their children. His only spare time is spent soothing his horses and when he goes to sleep.

Would babies from Fleabottom/Poor Birth Omegas mature faster than nobles? Since abandonment is probably common, they probably evolved to become independent faster. (Kinda like horses?)

In this Ted Talk, I will explain how Dunk's pups freak out all of his mates/fuckbuddies...

Yes, I think they would mature faster because of the environment they grew up in. Their bodies would probably push them to evolve quicker so that they could use all their bodily functions to the fullest.

For Dunk specifically (I like to imagine since he had his designation early his body still remembers the trauma of Fleabottom and so his babies would have inherited the fast genes evolution wise), his babies would be really advanced out of the womb, their absolutely cute and absolutely built like one year olds already. Their probably trying to crawl only weeks after birth and trying to walk even faster. Dunk would be like, "Oh yeah, that happens," and his mates would flip the f**k out being like, "What do you mean that happens!? No, it doesn't, Dunk!" And then Dunk has to explain yes it is quite common especially in Fleabottom, he thought this was common knowledge? He was walking before his first year, and he presented when he was like 11-12. His mates have gone pale and are in absolute shock.

His mates are probably trying to get the babies to just settle and stop trying to advance themselves, and Dunk is just so confused. He thought everyone would be happy the puppies are trying their best to grow quickly, little does he know most of his mates/f**k buddies are near to tears imagining their puppies not feeling safe enough to be babies! Poor Dunk he's so used to babies trying to crawl/walk/talk that he just thought thats what most babies do after birth, he didn't know most of them dont even attempt most things until months after birth.

I bet Dunk's feelings would be so hurt, too, like he fully thought his mates/f**k buddies would appreciate their pups not needing them that much considering their lords/heirs. But nope, they all look like he's punched them and spat on them. It would be really funny if their all so desperate to stop the babies they just strap them to their own chests and coddle them over time (factory reset time) just full-blown cooing, scenting and trilling. Poor pups, their fully just grumpy faces that their attempts are being thwarted by their meddling sires.

I think Omega's would be the most common in Fleabottom to present faster because of territory and so they could use their teeth or claws to defend or protect. I think most Omega's would be protectors of the pack while as Alpha's protect the territory, Beta's are the ground mans / foot soldiers and also the providers I feel like they would be the best at calming down and settling both the Alpha's and Omega's of the pack. Beta's would be the primary carers for the whole pack. They're probably the money earners.

Dunk and Baelor are having an affair, Baelor loves his wife she gave him sons and is his fondest companion, Dunk loves his children and tolerates his husband. Dunk had met Baelor when he and his husband had gone to the Baratheon birthday of Gowen Baratheon.

Baelor had ridden against many a knight and even against Dunk's own husband. His husband lost and Baelor had been victorious. When Dunk had gone to congratulate the prince, he was struck dumb with how handsome he had been and how eloquent with his speech.

When Baelor had spotted Dunk he was charmed by how shy he had been and how he wasn't slighted by his husbands defeat. They started trading letters back and forth since the tourney, telling each other of their day and what they kept close to their hearts. Soon they were meeting at tourneys and events held by the royal family. They never had a physical relationship till both their spouses died.

They never disclosed their relationship to the public, they wanted their quiet peace to last a little longer. When their children had grown bigger they were informed of Dunk and Baelor's love for one another.

As the years went by they finally felt secured in telling the public and displaying their affection, they married within weeks of the public knowing and had a healthy set of twins within moons. Named for Baelor's grandmother and Dunk's childhood friend. Two beautiful girls with their sires colouring, and heterochromia in both their eyes, one amethyst and the other sky blue. Beloved by their older siblings.

Do yall think Omega Dunk would have nest building skills, or is it all instinctive?

He knows how to build a nest

It's his instincts

Other people make nests for him

He doesn't know or doesn't have the instincts for it

I feel like it would all be muscle memory for Dunk, so he'd just have to get an outline of a nest started before memory kicks in, and he makes a comfortable nest for his group of ragtag members.

And if he doesn't remember, his mates have enough willpower and love for him they make their own nests for him to rest in or scent.
