hedgehogjawn answered your post: who would mycroft have on his pokemon ...
Wartortle(wouldn’t evolve it; too gaudy), Raichu, Ninetales, Vileplume(misunderstood creatures), Gengar(just decided to follow him, he can’t stand it)
i agree with this a shit ton (esp the ninetales)
i usually make him have only one or two pokemon. i think a shiny ninetales would be his companion (regale, pampered, a fire type to melt his icy exterior) that he got from a family member when he was a child as an egg (it hatched shiny)
i also feel like he’d somehow acquire a purugly. because it would just be so fitting for him: angry, powerful and fat
Well, folks. This is my first gaming rig. It'll be un and running within the next few days. Would be running already, but we sort of bought the wrong CPU...So...The right one is being overnighted to us and we have a perfectly good i7 to sell. So that kinda sucks, but...oh well.
I'll post pics when it's up and running if anyone's interested, including one of my amazing husband that guided me through this adventure.
Also, my case is gorgeous and no one can tell me otherwise.

Being multilingual is a given as far as headcanons go. Sebastian and Severin, being of German descent, are fluent in English and German. It comes in handy when dealing with the Eastern Europeans. They stick to English, though, preferring the language easily over German. Jim has three languages. English, Gaelic, and French. English, obviously. Gaelic, because of a certain grandmother that would slap his and Richard's hands with a spoon if they didn't address her in her mother tongue. And French, as the better off the options when he had to learn another language for school. The language of love, something he didn't understand at that tender, young age. It didn't help him understand, though it did he'll him woo a few prospective partners, none of whom worked out. Last was Richard. Jim was a genius, yes. Brilliant, actually. There were very few areas where Richard surpassed his brother, especially intellectually. The one place they could both agree on was linguistically. Compared to Jim's three, Richard scored an astounding five languages with a working knowledge in several more. English and Gaelic, for many of the same reasons as Jim. French, because of his brother. German, Richard learned when he found out the Moran twins were fluent. The last language was a labor of love; one that garnered responses ranging from eye rolls to pleased claps. Tolkien's Elvish tended to do that, though, and Richard brought out this skill whenever he could. Why, though, was Richard so versed in various languages, though? Simply put, he enjoyed it. While Jim was learning about the stars, Richard was learning languages. Honing his skills and incorporating them into his acting abilities. He was versatile, able to take on many different roles, languages be damned with how easy they were to pick up. And through all this, Jim was never jealous. Never upset that his baby brother was better than him. Rather, he encouraged it. He helped Richard practice whenever he could, holding up flashcards and quizzing him, gaining a working knowledge as he did. Jim loved that Richard was so brilliant, so wonderful, in something. Richard might not be as quick as him, as observant or cunning, oh, he did love it when Richard slipped into one of his many languages on the middle of sex because brainy was so very sexy.
hedgehogjawn replied to your post “i’m so sick of people getting angry at me because they think i’m...”
Ugh yes. <3 I understand you. I /have to ask 90+ year old grandma if she's used any alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs. I know the answer is probably no, but I still have to ask because it happens.
I know! It's so annoying. Like, I know you are probably not going to overdose on this, but it's my job to ask these questions to make sure it's safe for me to sell it. One woman got really annoyed at me because she couldn't believe I asked her if she was diabetic in public! She was the only person in the shop. And if I hadn't asked her it, I couldn't have served her
Urghhh! My cat jumped on my ESC key. If this was you, I'm SO sorry. =( I was enjoying this. Please find me!

Stranger: Oh? -JM x
You: Oh? What do you mean by oh? -RB
Stranger: I'm silently asking for precisions. -JM x
You: Oh isn't silent, Jim. Besides, I don't know if anything will come of it. He's planning on joining the military. -RB
Stranger: Oh. :( -JM x
Stranger: Too bad. Silly me, who was already expecting a marriage. -JMx
Stranger: Anyway, what happened last night? -JM x
You: Like I said, nothing crazy...we just cuddled, got a bit handsy...that sort of stuff. -RB
Stranger: Oooooh. ;) -JM x
You: And we've only been out once. Bit fast for marriage, isn't it? People don't usually start talking marriage so soon, do they? -RB
You: Is he going to be expecting me to move faster? -RB
Stranger: No, no. I don't think he's going to expect that. I was only joking, baby. -JM x
You: I hope so. -RB
You: Where are you? -RB
Stranger: Why, I'm at home. Waiting for you and your charming prince to go and have a romantic breakfeast or something of the same acabit. -JM x
You: He's still sleeping. He snores. -RB
Stranger: Awh. -JM x
You: What do I do when he wakes up? I've never done this before. -RB
Stranger: I know, sweetie, I know. Well. Before he wakes up, maybe you should, y'know. Cuddle up a bit. -JM x
You: Maybe so. He's very good at that. -RB
Stranger: Is he, now? -JM x
You: You can't have him, Jim. Don't even start thinking that. I really like him. -RB [deleted]
Yeah...Lots of muscles. -RB
Stranger: Oooooh. I like muscles. ;3 -JM x
Stranger: And he doesn't crush you, when he gives you a hug? -JM x
You: Maybe a bit, but it's okay. I like it. =) -RB
Stranger: ;) -JM x
Stranger: So, you wanked each other off, uh? How was it? -JM x
You: You're making me blush! I'm not...that's really blunt...Nice. It was nice. -RB
Stranger: ;)))) -JM x
Stranger: Did you try some frottage or somethin'? -JM x
You: A bit. He's not exactly inexperienced. -RB
Stranger: Oh, my. He does sound like a good man. Y'better keep him. -JM x
You: It's just that he really wants to go into the army. -RB
Stranger: Ugh. -JM x
Stranger: This sounds like a stupid movie's cliché. -JM x
You: I know, right? But he'd be really good at it. I know he would. -RB
Stranger: Y'seem to trust him so much, already. That's cute. -JM x
You: Well, we have been talking for a while. During all those after school study sessions I was going to. The ones you called dull? -RB
Stranger: Oooh. -JM x
Stranger: Ugh. If only I had known there would be hot, muscled, tanned blonds, I would never have dared calling it boring. Or dull. Or whatever. -JM x
You: Did you really think that I would just spend the night with someone I just met? -RB
Stranger: Eh. Who knows. I mean, I do this all the time. -JM x
You: But I'm not you. -RB
And I still don't like undressing in front of you, even after all we've done-RB [deleted]
You: Now he's mumbling in his sleep. -RB
Stranger: I know you aren't. But still. It'd be nice if we had some similarities, y'know? -JM x
Stranger: Awh. What a cutie pie. What's he mumbling about? -JM x
You: Not sure. Can't really understand it. It's really sweet, though. -RB
Stranger: <3 -JM x
Stranger: Kiss him! -JM x
You: What? What if he wakes up? -RB
Stranger: That's the point! -JM x
You: But....fine...-RB
Stranger: Keep me informed! ;D <3 -JM x
You: Richard glanced at the urging text once more before turning his gaze on the other male in the bed. Taking a deep breath, he leaned over and pressed a quick peck to his lips before pulling away to watch for any change. He let out a soft groan at the movement, causing the sore bum to become even more sore; they had done much more than Richard had let on.
He sort of wriggled his nose. -RB
Stranger: Awwwwwwhhhhhh. <3333 Take a pic! A pic! -JM x
You: I don't interrupt you like this after your nights out. [img_142.jpg] -RB
Stranger: I wouldn't mind if you did. Also, holy shit. -JM x
You: See? Muscles. -RB
Stranger: Daaaaaamn. -JM x
Stranger: Fuckin' hot mess. And also kinda cute. -JM x
You: Kinda? Just kinda? -RB
Stranger: No, you're right. Cute as a button. -JM x
You: Funny. Really funny. Don't think he'd like being called cute, though. He's got the manly thing going on. -RB
Stranger: And he's right. -JM x
Stranger: Also. Are you really /sure/ that you didn't do anythin' more than just touchin'? -JM x
You: What? Yes. I wouldn't just go and do all /that/ on our first night. -RB
You: Why? Do you think I should've? Would it make me look too easy? -RB
Stranger: Rich. -JM x
Stranger: I can see the condom box torn open on the picture you sent me. -JM x
You: [No reply]
Stranger: Why did you lie to me, hm? -JM x
You: [Delayed reply] At least we were safe? -RB
Stranger: Yes. And I'm proud of you for this. -JM x
Stranger: But, still. You lied to me. -JM x
Stranger: Why? -JM x
You: I sorry...I just didn't think you'd approve of him. Or us moving so fast. -RB
You: I'm*
Stranger: Well, I'm a tiny bit jealous. But, really, it's okay. It'd be quite hypocritical of me givin' you lessons, hm? -JM x
You: Promise? I don't want you mad at me or anything. -RB
You: And your lessons really did help. =) He was surprised that we didn't exactly have to move slowly. -RB
Stranger: Well, as long as you remember that you were mine first... ;3 -JM x
Stranger: Oh? Did they, now? Nice! Did you manage to satisfy your man? -JM x
You: I sort of sucked on him for a while. He said it was really good. I did that thing where you flick your tongue at the bottom of the head. He didn't know about that spot. -RB
Stranger: Oooh, my. Little Richie is an expert, now, hmmm? ;) -JM x
You: No. I'm not an expert. You know that. But we did enjoy it. -RB
You: Promise you're not upset? -RB
Stranger: You're right. I'm the expert here. What else did you do? -JM x
Stranger: Yes, Richie, I promise that I'm only a little, little, liiiiiittle bit upset. -JM x
You: I'll make it up to you tonight. Promise. -RB
You: And I rode him. Me on top. He sort of controlled the speed and all that, but that's okay. It was fun. -RB
Stranger: You better. <3 Tho, wouldn't want him to be jealous of his little boyfriend's twin. -JM x
Stranger: Oh, my. Did you, really? I'm impressed. -JM x
You: He doesn't know....I don't know what he would think if he knew about you. He knows I've got a twin, but of course he doesn't know anything about /us/. -RB
Stranger: He doesn't? Well, of course. I didn't really expect you to tell this to everyone you meet. Though, I've got the idea that he wouldn't actually mind. -JM x
You: Really? Why don't you think he'd mind? -RB
Stranger: Richie, my baby. It's every man's fantasy to have a couple of hot twins. -JM x
You: Is it? I've never had that fantasy...Could be because I'm a twin, I guess. -RB
Stranger: I suppose so. But, a manly guy, a little blunt, like him, I'm sure he'd love to have us both at the same time. -JM x
Stranger: Y'know. The good twin, you, and the bad twin, me. -JM x
You: I don't know. I was pretty bad last night ;) -RB
You: We could suggest it, I guess. See what his thoughts on it are. -RB
Stranger: Ooh, naughty. Did he spank you for bein' such a bad boy? ;3 I think he'd be the kind of guy all up for spanking. -JM x
Stranger: Ask him once he's well awake. If his brain is still fuzzy, he won't even probably understand it. -JM x
Stranger: And he'll freak out. -JM x
You: No, we didn't do any of that. He was really gentle because he thought I was new to everything. I'll talk to him when he wakes up. -RB
Stranger: Oh. I guess it was the right thing, then. But you should definitely try, at once. -JM x
You: Once he wakes up. -RB
You: He did say that you were pretty interesting, though. -RB
Stranger: Oh? Did he? Well, I can't blame him. I really am interesting. -JM x
You: But I'm 'sweet'. -RB
Stranger: D: -JM x
Stranger: I'll never be sweet. :'( -JM x
You: I wouldn't want you to be. ;) -RB
You: That'd be taking my place. -RB
Stranger: ;) -JM x
Stranger: Oh, by the way, what would his name be? -JM x
You: Sebastian. -RB
Stranger: I like that name. A bit old fashioned. Yum. -JM x
You: Or Seb. Preferably Seb. He likes Seb. -RB
Stranger: Seb? Very well, then. Sebby it will be. -JM x
You: If you must. Not sure he'll like it, though. -RB
Stranger: Who cares. It'll be fun. <3 -JM x
You: Please don't scare him off, Jim. -RB
Stranger: I'll try my best. Does he got a nice ass? -JM x
You: Very nice. -RB
Stranger: How nice exactly? -JM x
You: Just about perfect. All tight. -RB
Stranger: Hmmmmmmm. -JM x
Stranger: Picture? :D -JM x
You: Jim! I can't get to it right now without waking him. Besides, what if he doesn't want photos taken of him? -RB
Stranger: :( -JM x
Stranger: I'm grumpy, now. -JM x
You: I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you later. Promise. -RB
You: We can have a shower together. -RB
Stranger: Oh, yes. <3 -JM x
Stranger: Y'know what you should do, to wake him up? -JM x
You: What? -RB
Stranger: Well, you've got two options. -JM x
Stranger: A) Morning blowjob.
B) Morning rimjob. -JM x
You: That's...a bit forward, don't you think? -RB
Stranger: I don't think so, now. -JM x
Stranger: Trust me. There's not any more delicious way to wake up. -JM x
You: Yeah, I know they're nice ways to wake up but...he'll be so surprised. -RB
Stranger: That's the point! <3 Work him up a little bit before actually doing it. Without waking him up. And then, grande final! -JM x
Stranger: (( Be right back! It may take a while, but please wait for me! <3 ))
You: ((Kk. Do you want to take over Sebastian?))
You: Okay, okay. I'll do it. -RB
You: ((Just typing so we don't auto-d/c <3))
Stranger: (( Hey, I'm back! Sorry for taking so long. Thanks for waiting! <333 ))
Stranger: (( Also, I certainly wouldn't mind taking over Sebastian, but maybe not right now? I quite enjoy those texts between Jimmy and Richie. :3 ))
You: ((Alright! Sorry I didn't respond right away <3 We can keep on with those two <3))
Oh, this was great fun =) Completely worth messing up my sleep schedule. With the wonderful destinedforjohnlock as Jim.
Stranger: Jim Moriarty had a title to uphold, a name to keep established, and a social status to fulfill: that of a mate, a partner, and eventually a father. Not that he particularly cared for the last little detail, but the expectation was there nonetheless. But what pour soul, pray tell, would bother with a twisted man like Jim? He killed for a living, or rather had people killed. Although he was a man of power, that wasn't exactly on top of the list of preferred career paths in a potential mate. Nor were his spontaneous antics. Good thing, then, that he could very easily obtain an Omega with a bit of money and some time to spare while browsing.
So when one tall blonde caught his eye, though annoyingly slouched over it seemed, Jim's interest piqued immediately, and he made his way through a crowd of obnoxious older Alpha gentleman prattling on about 'slim pickin's.' Picky old fogies, Jim thought, rolling his eyes and proceeding along until he was within reach of the Omega. His eyes narrowed as he studied the features before him, using a free hand, the other shoved in a pocket of his expensive suit trousers to give off an air of indifference, to lift the man's chin with a firm grip between his thumb and index finger. He studied his face, turned it this way and that, smirking as me set about memorizing the scars, the messy hair, the hard look. This one. This one was it. "How much?" he asked nonchalantly, tilting his head toward the vendor as he spoke, strong Irish lilt clear in his voice.
You: He would curse himself for it, but Sebastian had allowed his attention to drift, focusing on the others in the room. A group were busy examining a young, female Omega. Pretty thing, he supposed, but she would be broken easily, and forced into a dull life serving whichever "lucky" Alpha bonded with her first. She looked terrified, he noticed, but he couldn't bring himself to pity her much. They were in similar situations and pitying her would mean that he had to pity himself as well. No. Sebastian had to focus on getting free. Maybe finding one of those underground homes that would help him pass as a Beta and live a somewhat normal, free life. He had managed it for years in the army until a so called comrade had sold him out.
It was a surprise, then, when he was pulled from his thoughts by fingers on his chin. Sebastian pulled his eyes away from the group and stared up at the man that held him. He held eye contact the entire time, expression completely blank. He was loathe to give away any weakness, anything the Alpha could use against him.
The vendor looked Sebastian up and down at the man's question and pursed his lips, thinking. "I'll give ya' a bargain on this'n, sir," he replied, pulling out a note pad and pen. "Bloody stubborn. How does a thousand suit ya'?" he asked, starting to write.
Stranger: Stubborn. Jim could work with stubborn. He grinned, withdrawing his hand to shove it back in his other pocket, but he didn't allow for any additional space between him and his new Omega. "He's worth more," Jim replied, entirely genuine. "A lot more, I'm sure, /gorgeous/ as he is. I can't possibly take him off your hands for a mere thousand pounds." If there was one thing Jim had to spare, it was money. And sure, maybe he liked to flash it around a little. So spending what he had intended was no big deal. He never once broke eye contact with the Omega. "I'm giving you fifty thousand for him. Though I do expect to see that put to good use taking better care of your lot." Buying people seemed pathetic, almost sick, even for a man like Jim. But if it was a last resort... "Believe me when I say I'll be checking in on that. Perhaps you'll have future customers should a sort of... /recommendation/ get around." Jim turned only for a moment to smile and wink at the vendor, a little promise of his as he made a mental note to either remove the man from the face of the earth or leave him depending on how exactly he'd be handling that money, before settling back on the Omega's face. Oh, the plans he already had...
You: Sebastian narrowed his eyes but didn't reply. That would, after all, be horribly out of place and the buyer might change his mind. It would be much easier to escape one man than the set up they had here. As soon as his chin was released, he leaned back, taking the weight off of his knees. He continued to stare, glare almost, up at the brunette. Posh, young, throwing around money as though it was of no consequence. Could be interesting. Unlikely. He was probably just like every other rich bloke that passed through here, thinking he was the most important Alpha to ever enter.
The vendor nodded hurriedly, stumbling over his words and scribbling in the pad. He flipped a few pages and passed the documents over to Jim to sign. That sort of money was expected for the best Omegas. The ones that were compliant and would carry several litters. The vendor had a feeling that Sebastian wouldn't even carry one, due to his stubborn, dangerous streak that was most unfitting to an Omega. He would probably injure himself and lose any kids he carried. "Yes, sir. With your blessing, the facilities will be improved immediately. I will make certain of it, Sir," he stumbled through, trying to smile at Jim. "I'll get a rope for you, then? Bet this one'll run off as soon as he's out. He's tried to escape several times already."
Stranger: Jim scowled, waving a dismissive hand before scrawling a signature over the papers, over and over again. So much paperwork. Tedious, entirely unnecessary. He didn't even care what was in 'em. Oh, except the name. 'Moran, Sebastian.' Not bad. Sounded like some militant name to Jim. "He's not an animal." Jim voice was controlled but hinted a bit of bite to his words. "No need to tie him up like one. I'm sure he'll cooperate well enough." After crossing a few more t's and dotting some i's, Jim returned the papers and pulled out his mobile, sending a quick text to some undisclosed and rarely used number requesting the briefcase with the money. He turned to Sebastian with his most charming smile, though more to be sarcastic than because it was genuine. "Won't we, Tiger?" Oh, the nickname possibilities. Jim loved them. Not many were too endearing, save for the few he reserved for his mum and brother.
You: "Of course, sir. As you wish, sir," the vendor replied and loosed the collar that had kept Sebastian in place. He checked over the paperwork and nodded, checking a few boxes and signing his own name in the appropriate spots. With that finished, he took a step back and gave a short bow before heading off to convince one of the older Alphas to buy the young girl.
Sebastian stood slowly, not waiting for permission, and looked Jim up and down. At first glance, he had little doubt that he would have trouble overpowering the man and getting free. The posh little git looked over confident and under skilled. He stepped off the small platform they had made him kneel on and grunted, looking around. "It's Moran. Nothing else," he said, scowling at the nickname. "I'm not some damn house cat."
Stranger: "A /feisty/ one," Jim said through a slow forming grin, loud enough for the vendor. He stepped closer and looked right up into the man's face, his own expression having gone completely slack. With voice pitched lower and quieter, he continued. "I'm not into purchasing people. In fact the entire idea seems asinine. However, here we are. You have two options. Run, and I'll find you and make your life hell. Or stay, live with me, do whatever it is that you wish, and /pretend/ you're my bond mate. I'm not looking for the actual thing. I honestly couldn't care less. However, you're convenient, I'm convenient, and we could make this work out /swimmingly/." The fake smile was back, and Jim's voice was back to normal. "Sound like a plan, /Basher/?" Another one to add to the already growing list.
You: Sebastian couldn't help the sharp intake of breath when he moved closer and whispered the threat. Sebastian could practically smell the Alpha on him. Maybe he wasn't a complete idiot. Maybe they were on the same page. Sebastian thought it over quickly deciding to wait until he found out more before he made the decision to run. Who knows? It might be worth it. He nodded after a moment and crossed his arms, wrinkling his nose at the stifling surroundings. "Fine. I'll play along," he replied quietly, not saying anything about the nicknames. "Could be fun."
Stranger: Fun indeed, Jim mused, smirking. He looked over to find an employee of his, a sort of assistant thought he was utterly useless, delivering the promised money in the briefcase to the vendor. Well, that was out of the way. All that was left to do was get the hell home, not that much was waiting for him there. "Follow me," he instructed, and Jim walked on ahead without bothering to check behind him to make sure he was followed and instead suggesting, "walk next to me, you're not some lost puppy." It was more to keep an eye on the man, taller and rugged as so /not/ the ideal image for an Omega. But he'd be useful, Jim would make sure of that. The crowd wasn't too thick, mostly men on the sides looking at specific merchandise and Omegas, so they arrived out front fairly quickly. Odd part of town, kind of dingy. Not a place Jim would travel to alone. With a wave, a car drove around the corner, black and sleek and new, and stopped before them. As a kindness, Jim supposed, just for today he opened the backseat of the car door and gestured toward it. "After you," he insisted with mock hospitality.
You: Sebastian sped up slightly at the command, falling in step beside Jim. Damn straight he wasn't a lost puppy or a damn house cat. When they reached the street, he had to cover his eyes for a moment while they adjusted from the darkness of the building to the bright sun. Once his eyes had adjusted, they fell on the car, brows raising slightly. So the man was loaded, it seemed. If he decided to hang around, it could be interesting. He had heard all sorts of stories about rich Alphas spoiling their Omegas. Sebastian didn't know if that was in the cards for him, but it would be more interesting than hiding out and pretending to be a Beta forever. As long as he didn't have to bond and carry a bunch of damn pups. He climbed into the car and slid over to the far side, glaring at the far seat. "What's the catch?" he asked, sitting straight, as was military custom, "Just pretend to be bonded and that's it?"
Stranger: Jim fell in beside him, decidedly shutting the door to the rancid place forever before settling in. He took a moment to study Sebastian, took note in the way he held himself, the way he spoke, the way he presented himself. Military experience was obvious, and impressive given his Omega status. Maybe that's what caught Jim's eye. After a couple of mental notes and a satisfied smile, he pulled out his mobile again and texted orders to some other employee to neutralize their target, though his tone didn't give any indication of that whatsoever. "That's part of it. Depending on your availability, which will be always, you'll work for me. You've training in combat, I'm assuming. I need a bodyguard come to think of it. Position's yours if you prove yourself. You'll go to 'important events' with me and act as if we're bonded for the sake of the public eye, but otherwise our relationship is strictly professional. And believe me when I say my line of work is fan/tas/tic for stress relief."
You: Sebastian listened silently, taking in what he said. No bonding. That was a plus. He would rather shoot himself than end up like one of those sappy Omegas, living to please their bond-mate, unable to think of anything else. What a dull existence they must lead. He leaned back, getting comfortable as he nodded. "Sniper with the SAS," he replied, eyes still looking over Jim and taking in his details. Now that he was out of the darkness of the shop, he could see the thinly hidden air of danger that surrounded Jim. It was obvious, now, how dangerous the man was. He could do important events, pretending that he gave a damn and all that. He had done enough of that in the Army. This wouldn't be any different. "How do I prove myself, then? And will I be paid for my trouble?"
Stranger:
"You'll be paid enough, that much we can discuss later. As you'll be living with me, you won't have rent to pay. You'll only need to prove that you're of value. After getting you out of that hellhole I presume that you'll do just about anything within reason to ensure your spot in my flat with a roof over your head every night. My work is classified and will be discussed further once we return to the flat. There's also a matter with which I'm sure you're just /dying/ to talk about. We're going to, it'll be quick and painless, and likely over with in about thirty seconds. Your heats will be a bother. I'm putting you on birth control and the best suppressants I can find. Do you have any qualms with that?"
You: A paid position with few expenses. Pretty damn good, considering that few of his kind worked and if they did, it was busy work. Jobs that could be easily dropped if they went into heat or had to leave for some sudden reason. That sort of work had never interested Sebastian. he preferred to be in the thick of things, where the danger was. He pursed his lips at the mention of birth control and suppressants. He had been on both previously. It was one of the few ways to pass as a Beta. The idea of Jim forcing him to be on them, however, earned a scowl. It felt like he was losing control over his own damn body. "Fine," Sebastian finally replied, "That won't be a problem. I used to stay on them anyway." There. That at least sort of felt like he had a part in the decision.
Stranger: Oh, how compliant. That would come in handy in the future. " Excellent," he chimed, once again on his phone and typing out more orders to kill, though this time for one employee to kill another. Mistakes weren't granted second chances, a rule Jim lived by for years in his business. He rather hoped that wouldn't be a necessary punishment for good ol' Sebastian. Seemed too convenient for such a fate. "The last thing we need is you going into heat while you're pursuing a target." That bit he let slip in there to settle on his new partner in crime, but quickly changed the subject to avoid any present questions. "Takeout tonight, any preferences? Unless you're picky and prefer cook; I end up burning everything I touch. I was thinking Chinese. Been a while. A week. Still a while." It was all more to himself that to Sebastian, but the question was out in the open as he fidgeted with his phone. And then, yet again without so much of a short pause between subjects, he spoke up again. "Oh, that reminds me, we're going shopping tomorrow. New suits, new..." He gave him a quick once-over before continuing, "everything. And a phone. Always communicate with a phone."
You: Sebastian sat silently while he rambled, more to himself. He raised a brow at the slip. Interesting. Very interesting. Perhaps Jim wasn't the posh git that Sebastian had suspected. He apparently needed a bodyguard that took care of 'targets'. Sebastian let the comment pass, unquestioned, trusting that it would be discussed later as they moved on to more immediate problems. He wasn't in the best of shape, with what they had been feeding him. All the /merchandise/ got fed the same shit, meaning he got the same portions as the tiny, underage girl down the row and the guards tended to respond badly when he stole others' meals. Takeout would be fine. The promise of real food made his stomach growl. "Can't cook much more than noodles, myself," he replied with a shrug, "Hope you weren't looking for a personal chef." He paused, turning to look out the window and watch the city speed by. "I prefer Italian, actually. Always liked it over Chinese."
Stranger: "Italian it is. Menu's at the flat. We'll look it over and order something for delivery. Won't feel like going back out anyway." A pang of guilt slid through Jim's body, easily hidden with his generally calm composure. Friendly, too friendly. Or uninterested. Not that either were the case, but he couldn't have himself acting as such in front of a new employee. An expensive one at that. Alright, put on the cold facade and get on with it. Jim straightened his back and completely abandoned the easygoing timbre of his voice that he had allowed. His face was expressionless, eyes empty. Such an easy look. "I meant what I said earlier, Moran. You run off and I'll find you faster than you can believe. You won't want to, not if I've read you correctly, which I have. But remember that. No room for mistakes, no warnings beyond this one. Understood?"
You: There was the thinly hidden danger. Sebastian nodded sharply, straightening back up. He still wasn't convinced that he would stay, but from the short conversation, Sebastian could tell that he wasn't joking about making his life hell. He didn't have much choice, it seemed, and Jim was clear about that. "Understood," he replied with another solemn nod. Should he stay, which he would for a while, to test the waters, he would work his hardest and fulfill his end of the agreement. If he didn't stay...Well, he better get good at running. "No running off and your arse is safe with me as a bodyguard." Just enough vulgarity to cement his dislike of his genetics, Sebastian decided. He couldn't be too docile, but he also knew that he had to show some sort of respect. That was about as respectful as he got.
Stranger: Ah, the beginning of a perfect partnership. With Jim's wit and Sebastian's determination, he was convinced, given the right circumstances, that nothing would stop them. Already convinced and he'd only know the man for half an hour. Something special, then. It wasn't often that Jim had a hunch or a gut feeling about something, but this was one of those things. They usually never failed him. The corner of his lips tugged with with the use of the obscenity, pleased the man would have a mind of his own. A challenge, something to appreciate often and fix when necessary. "Well then, welcome to the field. Jim Moriarty. You'll be taking orders from me from now on. Hope you don't mind a little blood on the job."
