Normally I wouldn’t think a happy ending works for Hedorah

But if they were in a guest star of a show like Zonefighter, transporting them to another planet where they can live

It could be used as character growth for the heroes realizing violence can’t solve everything.

For insance: imagine an uninhabited planet the bad guys experimented with automated mining nanobot-built structures on on. They succeeded, but the place was so polluted and dangerous not cost effective collect what was extracted. And as the nanotech mutated to to cope with pollution this unintentionally made them buggy at being controlled  

So dump Hedorah there.
