It was authentically fun, though, to stand in line and joke with Gate regulars (a diverse crowd of construction worker dudes and lobbyist jerks-in-suits and a woman who looked e x a c t l y like Ellen Pao) for 8 or 10 minutes, though.(Also the Sundays’ “Here’s Where the Story Ends” came on the muzak.)
