All Charlie could think at this moment was thank Gods for those convenient stores as she walked home with a bag of grocery in hand.
Work had been grueling as usual, but wasn't it always? She thought to herself, shoes padding along the sidewalk, lamp lights flickering up ahead. It was enough for her to glance up, eyes narrowing slightly. It was like the beginning of some bad horror movie.
As Charlie stood there, a bit entrance by the flickering lamo light, it almost reminded her of home back in California, which reminded her that she been here almost a year.
A year..
Sighing, the blonde tilt her head down before looking behind her, eyes glancing around.
Strange, she suddenly had that feeling she was no longer alone anymore.
