Agreed. I feel reality tv is used as a career saver in most cases (for instance, The Wanted) and it would look like a desperate move for One Direction's camp. Especially because they don't need the publicity. They are still selling their records and are growing increasingly popular with each album they release. I mean, so many more of my friends not only like the boys now but respect their talent these days. They are currently growing out of the "cheesy boyband" stereotype and stooping to a reality tv show would literally set all of their hard work back to square one.

It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable as well. They had their lives taped on reality tv before so they would probably be fine about the cameras being around BUT they are much more media trained now. They don't just say what they think and do what they want anymore. Take Harry for example... everything he says is meticulously thought out. I think their loyal, hardcore fans (us) would be extremely disappointed with the outcome of the show because they would more than likely edit the boys down to personality-less carbon copies of one another while simultaneously losing every ounce of respect that the general public is currently gaining towards them. and I genuinely believe that.
