C: 💌 2019년에 Love Part 1을 완성하면서 동시에 구상을 시작했던 Part 2. 그렇게 4년이라는 긴 시간 동안 이 앨범을 작업하면서 저는 사랑이라는 것에 더 많은 감정을 느끼고 솔직하게 그것들을 음악에 담아내려 했습니다. 그 과정은 바다 깊숙한 곳을 끝없이 들어가는 기분이었어요. ‘끝이 어딘지도 모르게’ 마치 처음 발견한 깊은 채도의 파란색으로 그림을 그리는 기분. 그만큼 자유롭게 그리고, 칠했습니다. 어느덧 아티스트로서 지내온 시간이 꽤 쌓이고, 조금씩 더 나이가 들수록 하나의 앨범을 만든다는 것이 얼마나 무겁고 어려운 일인지를 만들면서 수도 없이 절감했던 것 같습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고. 포기하지 않고 끝까지 완성할 수 있었던 건 저의 이야기를 들어주고 이번 앨범에 선뜻 함께 참여해 준 남준이, 찬혁이, 백현이 형. 그들이 제게 준 믿음과 사랑. 그리고 언제나 늘 묵묵하게 저를 믿어주는 웨이비 식구들 덕분입니다. 매번 앨범을 내는 기분은 익숙해지지가 않네요. 개운한 기분이 들다가도 왠지 모르게 시원섭섭한 감정들이 마구 교차하는 것 같습니다. 그만큼 제게 참 소중한 앨범이에요. 이 앨범을 여러분에게 들려드리기 전, 제가 혼자 쌓아온 Love Part 2 에서의 감정과 기억들이 주르륵 스쳐 지나가는 밤입니다. 그래도 인고의 시간이 잘 흘러 마침내 들려드릴 수 있는 날이 오게 돼서 너무나 다행이고 행복합니다. 보시는 바와 같이 이 앨범이 나오기까지 수많은 사람들에 순수하고 단단한 사랑이 모여서 나오게 됐으니 앨범 크레딧도 천천히 쭉 살펴봐주세요. 그리고 늘 그랬 듯 앨범 곡들을 차례대로 1번부터 8번까지 잘 음미해 주시길 바라는 마음에 오래전부터 적어왔던 저의 손 편지 같은, 앨범의 Director’s Commentary 도 순서대로 읽어보시면서 앨범을 즐겨주시면 감사하겠습니다. 아 그리고 이번 Part 2를 쭉 다 들으시고 Part 1을 이어서 들어보시면 Love 앨범을 더 제대로 즐기실 수 있을겁니다. 꼭 같이 들어보세요. 이상으로 저에게 늘 무조건적인 사랑을 주시고 저의 음악을 좋아해 주시는 모든 분들에게 감사와 사랑을 전하며. 저는 그 사랑에 더 제대로 보답할 수 있게 앞으로도 늘 좋은 음악과 모습으로 찾아올게요. 사랑합니다.
