☽ ☾ ● ◯ : it was peaceful, once she dove into the water, her thin white dress flowing freely around her. floating, feeling as light as air -- no heaviness existed, not within her body nor heart. there was no need to breathe as her body was accustomed to the sensation of not having oxygen in her lungs. living among the dead for so long, her breath could be easily stilled. such tranquility would have to end soon --- knowing she needed to speak with the goddess of the seas.
she opened her mouth and while bubbles escaped, it didn’t perturb her. the lunar phantom caught sight of the deity, of the mighty serpent she needed to speak with. a delicate hand reached up to push away her long, honey platinum tresses.
“leviathan, ruler of the ocean deep, i have come bearing news of my mother’s current state.” her voice was not distorted by the water, only amplified as though it were the echo of a lonely ghost.
“you remember her, do you not? the goddess of death herself...”
