How does it make you feel knowing that women have been trained to see men as a threat?
That when a woman is walking alone down the street at night and she sees a man in her vicinity, her mind immediately jumps to "what do I do if he attacks?"
That there are seminars and self defense classes for women only so that they know how to protect themselves agains male attackers?
How does it feel knowing that the reputation of your gender is the reason why most women carry pepper spray?
Or that before I left for college my father had such little faith in his own gender that he taught me how to hold my keys between my knuckles so if I was attacked I could defend myself?
How does it feel? To be seen as a rapist or an attacker? To be seen as the villain? To know that if a woman passes another woman on the street, there wouldn't be the same feelings of apprehension as there would be with a male? To know that you are the nicest, sweetest guy ever and yet you are included in this because you were born with a penis?
Do you feel that it's a little unfair that just because a few men acted a certain way, you got clumped in with them? Don't you think that it's wrong that women don't fear women but they fear men? Even though they have a reason to? Are you a little angry that women are encouraged to take self defense courses but if a man did it he would be seen as aggressive and dangerous?
Doesn't that make you a little angry?

Just read an article against HeForShe because the feminist movement doesnt do enough for men, the main argument was "Men experience sexual assault and violence too". Feminists want to destroy these two issues as a social problem, on a social level.
1) Men do not experience this as a socialized problem. One in Five women have been sexually assaulted. Women experience catcalling, the "friendzone" exists, etc. Women are expected to be sexual creatures, not for our own pleasure, but for men. Men are still socially expected to be dominant over women, and this leads to a society that defend rapists. (Look into the case in Steubenville High School, the rapists were defended by the town)
2) When women are assaulted sexually or physically you hear "she was drunk, her dress was short, she is a slut so why does one more matter" or other blame exuses, you also hear "why didnt she leave him". When it happens to men you hear "he should have like it" or "he's a man (he's stronger so it doesn't matter). The end of a "males are dominant" attitude would end all of these assumptions and allow the victims proper care through less stigmatization.
Right now sexual and physical assault for women is a societal problem treated as an individual problem: the women is to blame. This is caused by an expected male dominance. The individual cases against men are ignored. This is caused by expected male dominance.
Feminism seeks to end the "male dominance" attitude
Ending "male dominance" attitude will be beneficial to society, to women, and to men.
The article ended saying that instead of "He For She" it needs to be "He and She for All". This I can stand behind.We need to all work together to make it acceptable to be feminine, to make it acceptable for people of all genders (and people who choose no gender) to be who they are, and for our rights of safety from harm to be defended properly.
PLEASE if any of this needs to be re explained let me know, I tried to simplify it the best I could. Ending male dominance is also helpful in other ways and I'd be glad to cover more topics if anyone cares. I've made it my personal goal to be educated and articulated in this area because I want to spend my life working towards equality.
