her character did actually die in the show because her actress got sick. she got better though and came back at the very end of the season

The real question about echoes is why the fuck are we given axes if no one can use them except for a lumberjack?????

I think the real oddity is that it’s not even like we get typical axes.  There’s the splitting axe for that lumberjack, and I figured that was just a one-use item for that quest, nothing else.  But then you get a Devil Axe, and now I don’t know anything anymore.
