When the evil William Wilson Thoughts strike again:
For ease of reading, there’s Evil William and then there’s the Will we know
The OG William Wilson is a story about a guy that hates his doppelgänger, which is basically his inner moral compass trying to get that man on the right path and he’s very spiteful because A. HE WONT LEAVE HIM ALONE and B. I think just having him around is just a god awful reminder of what he could be
William Wilson, as we know, ends up realizing he had stabbed himself when he tries to body his doppelgänger:
“You have conquered, and I yield. Yet, henceforward art thou also dead—dead to the world and its hopes. In me didst thou exist—and, in my death, see by this image, which is thine, how utterly thou hast murdered thyself.”
Now hear me out… Evil William’s clones, are stuck in the state and mindset he died in: Wills, basically. Flashback Wills. The Will we’ve been seeing.
And Evil William HAAAAAATESS THAT…. Because in his mind, that’s the stupid naive grown child who got them both KILLED BY (presumably) SALLY AND JOHNNY (whether by mistake or a murder idk idk :9).
And damn, his only power really had to be to make even more of that version of him. Can’t really escape that version of him when he’s gotta depend on that weak spineless loser to make it out of here. But,, Mayhaps he can take his place and take all the suffering (from the people who triggered his power in the first place- what who said that???) FOR him??
Yeah :3!! Let’s do that!!
