JUST TO BACKTRACK……. When I first rewatched the angry birds movie, I didn’t realize how much I have missed it— the visual, the soundtrack, the freaking characterization of this nostalgic little slingshot game I used to play day in day out <<33

So then I was like, “hm, I wonderrr if there’s… any fanfic out there in the world for my eyes to feast upon….” because that’s what I usually do whenever I consume a piece of media I like

And while I was just scrolling through, I saw… MEGA MANGO LYRICS.??? Which at the time totally caught me off guard because as I’ve mentioned, it had been a SECONDDD since I listened to them, cause’ whenI first found them, I listened to Boggle and Risk LIKE RELIGION, and SO MUCH SO that I actually had to distance myself from them for a hot minute because the song was replayed way too many times to sound real anymore, yknow? Too much of a good thing :,)

AND GAMBINO LYRICS. BUT THE MEGA MANGO ONE STUCK OUT TO ME WITH MY HISTORY. So of course I needed to check it out and-

STOP. IM DEAD IM DYING. (Also that one line where he wanted to chase red’s laugh as it went out with the waves, you can’t see it but my mouth HURTS. It HURTS. That’s when I KNEWWW I would need to channel this energy into something.)

Also kudos to you for the characterization of his powers because holy moly I did NOT know his speed could ever equivocate into angst like oh em geee especially when I was just tweaking out over his previous dialogue where he was talking really quickly suggesting the beach walk date (cough) and then TOSSING IT OUTTA THE WINDOW and SITTING RED DOWN LIKE THAT because he REEEEALLY WANTS TO GET TO KNOW HIM. Summary: it’s about this really aloof girl, Sarang, who gets sucked into this friend group who like playing this one dare game they call ‘The Humiliation Game’ where they basically toss dares at each other.

For a while, they’ve just been using her to humiliate each other (dancing in front of her, asking her out, the works) and Sarang reeeeally truly couldn’t care less. But another girl, Subin, wants to keep the attention on herself by spooking Sarang with a dare.

Yeah, no, actually, Sarang does NOT know what humiliation feels like and this little friend group discovers that because Sarang does said there without a second thought just to get it over with. Subin discovers too. And eeeeeeverything trickles down from there…
