"I don't know if I wanna go back to school."

You mumbled into Kusuo's chest as he gently ran his fimgers through your hair. Usually, he wouldn't do this but he hated seeing you like this. He hated how the light in your eyes seemed to dim, he hated how he heard your mixed thoughts, he hated how he wanted to so desperately take you away. "I know, but you can't just let them not hear your side." Kusuo said as he looked at you. You turn your head to face him and sighed. "I know that but I just... I feel lost, it's like these pretty girls or guys always have it out for me. At my last school, this pretty guy spread rumors about me because I apparently dissed his girlfriend but I didn't. No one believed me becuase why would the pretty guy lie?" You say as you felt tears prick the corners of your eyes before burying your face in Kusuo's chest.

"I'm tired of it, I try and make friends but they all end up abandoning me due to some petty rumor or something." You mutter into his chest, your voice cracking a bit. Kusuo sighed before pressing a small kiss to your forehead. "You're an amazing person, Y/n. You're always so positive ans cheerful, and as much as I hate admiting it, you brighten up my day. I feel as if I'm not a psychic with you. I'm just Kusuo, your Kusuo," Kusuo said, this time using his voice. His voice a bit hoarse from not speaking a lot using his voice. His words so sincere as he held you tighter, you felt your breath hitch a bit as you lifted your head to see Kusuo looking at you with adoration in his eyes.

"If you really don't wanna go to school, I won't force you to. But don't be hard on yourself, okay?" Kusuo said, using telepathy again. You smiled slightly and nodded, "Okay, I will," You say as you bury your head back into his chest. Little did you know, it would be hard when the whole school ostriches you.
