Do you think they'll make Hope an obstacle for Haylijah? Or do you think they'll show the other side to it and have Hope be happy as long as her mom is happy?
I actually talked to a few fandom friends about this and it could go either way.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Hope were a little jealous of all of these new people in her mom’s life, not just Elijah. She has had Hayley to herself for 5 years. Children can be quite possessive.
But on the other hand, the Mikaelson’s have always been in Hope’s life in some capacity. Hayley has told Hope about her family. She made promises to her. It’s something Hope wants. So it might not be such a jarring experience for her.
