This slider hasn't been updated in ages so I managed to get it to work by myself and decided to share it in case someone else cannot live without height differences either. I'll take this down if Luumia ever updates the original slider! 🌻

Yo people who have experience with Sims mods!

I had some height slider mods to help kids and teens looks older/younger than their siblings. The oldest child was set as the tallest...and when he aged up to teen, it seems like those settings carried over and he was freakishly tall. This would be fine if I could change him back but while the slider still allows me to adjust his height, it won’t let me get him down to normal size. What it seems to be considering the minimum height is still way taller than normal Sims.

I tried uninstalling the mod but somehow the height is still stuck. Does anyone know how to fix this?

[edit] Update: traveling to a different lot and back without the affected Sim seems to have snapped him back to normal height. Idk what happened but it appears to be fixed now. Thank goodness!

I just thought, why Maxis didn't add a height slider(?) There is custom slider for that and the animation of sims is quite good with that. Sims with different height look straight to each other faces and when they hug, arms don't go through body. Only facial interactions like kiss not very good. And sitting too, high sim float above sit and low sim drown into sit. And some glitches with arms. But maybe it would be adjusted if slider was made by game developers.

Big horse, little horse, happy horse, fast horse. Gonna take my horse to the old town road I'm gonna ride 'til I can't no more.. Yes I have a pony. ..Yes you will have a pony! God I've worked on this for so long. So many hours.. Left to fix: Weird underbite on the face, slightly move the slot for the rider so they sit in the middle of the EA saddles. Figure out if I want a jittery trot animation but the hooves on the floor, or let the horse float for smoother animation? Possibly figure out how to make the back legs on ponies look a little nicer but probably not possible.

MycroftJr's height slider collab result affects horses. Someone should use my 'mod patch framework' mod and create a patch for the height sliders that adds a UI and functionality for horses, please. The template is already included in the mod as it comes with a UI interaction to adjust sim's height- just not for horses. It looks like the author is also open to submissions of improvements for the mod. :)

To use the height slider as it is right now, download the mod linked above (the height sliders) and you must get the horse's sim ID in game cheat console via sims.get_sim_id_by_name First Last

If they have a last name you MUST include it. If they don't, only use the first name.

After you get the ID, you can use a value between -100 (13 hand pony) and 100 (18 hand giant.) They are both shown in the video. The command to change their height in the cheat console during gameplay unpaused is: set_height # ID

Omg the height slider make me crazy! It doesn't work with my favourite poses.. 😭😭
