@sideshow_doll Fanart: Orianna, the Muse of Spirit. I wanted to draw her for a long long time since the release. So far, she is also the most challenging character to draw. I really had a headache figuring out the lace meshes and the structure of her clothing. In the end, I have learnt a lot of design techniques which is a fruitful challenge. Every artwork needs colours to show off its unique style. Same to us girls, we do makeup to make ourselves look beautiful. What if Huawei Xizi do not use makeup, would you look at her and say that she's pretty or will she lose her spark of confidence? Everyone has her own confidence, do not let judgement cloud our minds and our confidence, just like Huawei Xizi who uses makeup to shows off her beauty and grace. NEW VIDEO UP! 📢 I am not really a fan of videographer. At times like this, I want to make a change. A lot of artists like you and me are constantly under a battle within ourselves and the world. We are often misunderstood or sometimes being told that "Art can't make a living". Now I tell myself, should I change? Art is my true calling, I'm not going to change that. I can't stay in my usual chirpy character here anymore because I find it so tiring to pretend that I'm fine. So here I am, changing to help myself and you, to see that you can also have the right to change yourself to help your artistic talents to shine. ♥️ This piece is the first installment of Lunar Accords, hosted by @byloishannah, @nadiarausa, @artchiu and @ire.ma I wanted to explore art nouveau drawing with Japanese elements to it. The keywords for this piece are "lunar eclipse" and "shadow". I drew a Shadow Empress, dressed in white kimono with dark navy shades. I feel great to take this challenge because it allows me to explore my capabilities as an illustrator, and also expand my horizon to explore new styles and colours.
