The clear air breezed through her hair as she rolled her bike down the street. A day where she was finally wearing casual clothes that doesn't include designer brands, just simple Aéropostale tee and Old Navy clothes that she brought over from when she was in the States. Oh and of course, a simple jacket just to keep around. Artemis actually had her driver dropped off at the Songpa District to have a ride around Olympic Park. The greenery reminded her of the palms trees that she would see down on Sunset Boulevard. The brunette pedaled her way around the area, staying clear of passers along the pavement. Her bike was just several years old, but in good condition except for the tires, where she had to send her ride off to be fixed when she came back to the country. She began to hum a song that was performed years ago by Vanessa Carlton. Artemis continued her journey still she ended up near the brick bridge. Hoping off her bike, she rolled the vehicle onto the bridge
"Well, I guess that's enough for today." A sigh comes out of his lips as he stood from his seat, setting the guitar that he held onto earlier back onto its original place.
The cafe nearby the campus was busy as usual. Students rushed in and out between classes to get their daily fix of caffeine, an essential if they wanted to make out of school alive with limbs attached. Yiseul had stood in line for about six minutes now, every time it moved forward, a sigh would emit through her pursed lips.
A faint smile quickly appeared on her tired face when she was in front of the counter. "A venti latte with an extra shot of espresso please." She spoke the order precisely and handed the reward card along with cash to the cashier. Having only three hours of sleep, she needed as much caffeine she could get. "Oh, it's your birthday today!" The cashier grinned at the confused brunette, then slid the card and money back to her, "Happy birthday, Kim Yiseul! As a loyal member of our cafe, your drink is free today. Enjoy!" Yiseul staggered away, the lack of sleep made her brain unable to function properly. It wasn't until she checked the date on her phone that she realized it was the first day of August.
"Oh, it is my birthday."

With the last piece on, her outfit was complete. Silver heels strapped to her feet, Artemis was ready to head to the masquerade ball at Lotte Hotel. A hot pink chiffon dress that was one of a kind (courtesy of her own handiwork) to match with her light complexion. Jewelry to complement the dress and of course, the unforgettable rose gold mask. The ball wasn't a mandatory event, but with some whining and begging from Nam Yoonji, the young CEO agreed.
"Young Miss, your ride is waiting," her maid called out, as Artemis doubled checked herself in the mirror. Her hair was down and slightly waved. A barrette was clipped on by another maid that was helping her. "I'll be there is a moment," she answered, as her clutch purse was slipped in her hand, "Thank, Jiyoung. I appreciate the help." She smiled at her maid, clutching her dress as she left to head down stairs. The previous house servant had waited for her by the door. "Have a fun time," the older said. The brunette nodded in response, then left the house.
The chauffeur opened the door for her and she slipped in. "Lotte Hotel," Artemis told him. With a nod as his answer, the door was closed and the designer settled in for the ride. It didn't take long to reach the venue. She could see people walking inside. The car then stopped and the driver stepped out to help her door. As she waited, Artemis pulled the sun visor down from the attachment and checked her mask was on correctly. The door was pulled open and a hand appeared, the young woman used it as leverage to help herself out. "I will wait till the event is over."
She nodded and walked towards the venue door. The room was dark, only lit with lights of purple. From there she headed to the restaurant, her stomach was dying of hunger. She wandered around in search of a sitting table, but she found herself stopped by a person that she couldn't recognize with the mask on. "Hello," she greeted the other.
