3. What’s something you like about how you write?

I really dig dialogue and think I’ve gotten a pretty good handle of both Loki’s voice in conversation and his internal voice as a narration element. It’s a pretty delicate balance of quick adaptation and Asgardian holdovers, but it’s really fun to write and I love the challenge.

10. What’s the hardest thing for you to write?

Smut. I can do it, and have before, but ninety percent of it is just me sitting here with a puzzled look on my face trying to determine where exactly all the limbs are going. Second to that would probably be long blocks of description, because I’m still smacking my head against the wall trying to show not tell.

26. What’s a ship you really like rping?

MageneticsFrostiron. Which is interesting, because that’s really my reigning OTP, and I don’t actually have any of it on this blog. I just really dig the dynamic Tony tends to have with Loki (not to mention the freaking dialogue that is always golden) and the fact that they can very easy serve as each other’s foil.No but seriously Magenetics though.

28. What do you like about roleplaying angst?

What do I not like about roleplaying is the real question here am I right?Don’t get me wrong; I love fluff. Fluff makes me so freaking happy. But angst is what really pushes muses to their limits and shows what they’re made of. It’s where I learn a lot about Loki, and it fucking hurts, man, but pain defines happiness like darkness defines light, and without that pain the happy times just don’t feel as precious.But mostly I just like seeing Loki and other muses beaten into submission by agonizing pain and it makes my heart all fluttery and shit.

38. Has a roleplayer ever changed your view on a character? If so, how? Good or bad? For better or for worse?

*Cough Kristy cough* No, but seriously, I really didn’t have that much interest in Erik at all originally. If it weren’t for the SHIELDBang group I would have never struck up a thread with a Magneto blog, but damn am I glad that I did. Erik is a fascinating character and she plays him remarkably thoroughly no matter what crazy AU or plot idea I throw at her. She’s rekindled my love of all things X-Men, started me shipping things I never imagined I would, and holy shit do I adore Erik as a character now.

54. What’s a trope or plot you love but you’ve never gotten to roleplay or never gotten to roleplay in completion?

OKAY SO I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PICK JUST ONE BECAUSE DUMB OVERDONE TROPES AND ALL OF THE AU’S MAKE ME REALLY HAPPY I JUST LOVE AU’S. I’d still kill for a thread with a Steve or Sam blog where someone sees through all the crazy alien prince shit and realizes that Loki’s really, at the heart of it, a soldier who doesn’t know how to adjust to life after the warzone.Also this idea because it gives me life.

55. What do you like to do as you reply to threads? Listen to music? Have TV on? Complete silence? Dark room? etc.

I’ve gotta have music on for anything I’m working on, be it writing, art, or otherwise, and RP is no exception. There’s no one real soundtrack I use, just whatever fits the mood of what I’m working on or whatever I’m digging at the time. Right now it’s been a lot of electro swing and glitch hop.

60. Who’s a roleplayer (or writer) you think you have learned a lot from?

heiswildfire aka iidunn is more or less the reason I got back into RP, at which point I was a Tony Stark blog and we had an awesome Asgard Berserker AU going, so overall I’ll have to say they’re my biggest influence. I wanted to jump in for a good year before that but never had the courage to take the plunge. Tumblr why the hell do you insist tags go on separate lines now stop being dumb

♥ : Weird ship I have for my muse.

I don't know if weird, but most likely not shipped by most people: Clint x Gamora.

I think Gamora's tortured past, the account of loses and the hate to a paternal figure (regardless of how fake it is that figure) added to her talent to learn using any kind of weapon easily makes her a perfect match for Clint who has exactly the same talent (he uses bows and arrows, yes, we all know that, he is a snipper but he is a weapon master as well, proven by his ronin past and the fact that he is one of the few that can use Steve's shield properly). They would probably burst in chemistry, both of them not giving a shit about most of stuff. It'd be probably, tho, a more emotional than sexual relationship, but who knows. I ship them.

The war was a disaster. So soon after the devastating war with Asgard, the fighting stopping only with the signing of a peace treaty, Nornheim turned inward. They needed to recover. Many lives were lost, many resources depleted, homes and Temples were destroyed.

Jötunheim had contacted them not soon after. The planet was dying from the loss of the Casket of Ancient Winters, taken by Odin All-Father after their own war with the Asgardians. They wanted to open up trade routes, but Nornheim had reluctantly turned them away.

"Give us time." they said, "Trade will happen, but not now."

King Laufey, understandably displeased with this answer, attacked Nornheim. The King sought to take what was not freely given. The Norns weren't equipped to deal with such an onslaught, reconstruction had only just begun.

Of course, they had appealed to Asgard for help.

"Help us," Went the plea, "We are allies now, please help us." All messages went unanswered and they had ways of knowing that King Odin had, in fact, received them.

So Nornheim fell to King Laufey and the Jötnar. The Norns own King and the entire Royal Family was publicly executed. Citizens were taken hostage and sold off as slaves. Persons of importance given away like prizes to what the Jötnar had for Nobles.

Sigyn fought hard to defend her home, using both sword and Seiðr, flinging incinerating spells that turned the Frost Giants to ash. It was all for nothing, and the Temple fell. Yfrid All-Seer was killed along with her priestesses, her Temple destroyed, and her only daughter taken as prisoner and brought to Jötunheim.

She stood in her cell, waiting while her fate was decided. She wouldn't be surprised if they decided to simply kill her. Manacles around her wrists kept her from accessing her magicks. The door opened, guards stepping and dragging her out, pulling her through the hallways to the Great Hall.

She could see Laufey on his throne, his sons flanking him. The Frost Giants were easily ten feet tall, if not more and as she scanned the room with her eyes she saw another just off to the side, leaning against a pillar. This one was smaller than the others, probably only a couple inches taller than herself. His inky hair fell down his back in waves, strange, considering every other Jötun she's ever seen was bald.
