You slowly opened your eyes, stretching like a cat under your snuggly duvet. Turning over on your side, your brows furrowed to see your girlfriendâs side of the bed was empty. You groaned and plopped your head back down on your pillow, too comfy to get off the mattress to search for your girlfriend. It wasnât until the delicious scent of Dahyeâs signature pancakes wafted into the bedroom that you finally hauled yourself out of bed.
Padding into the kitchen, a smile graced your features as you saw your girlfriend cooking away in the kitchen. Her hair was pulled into a messy bun as she worked, her adorable little baby hairs framing her face. Dahye jumped a little as you approached from behind her, your arms moving to envelope her from behind. Your lips found their way to her neck, kissing her skin softly as she managed to flip a pancake without it falling on the ground.
âThey smell so good baby.â You said as your stomach grumbled. Dahye added the last pancake to the stack beside her before turning around in your arms. She kissed your forehead softly, brushing your hair behind your ear and whispering a quiet âgood morningâ. Reluctantly, Dahye pulled away from the hug to serve you up the pancakes and make some coffee while you ran to the bedroom to put on a hoodie. Your girlfriend smiled as you came back out to the kitchen, noticing that youâd nabbed one of her favourite hoodies to wear. You just smiled back, knowing how much she loved it when you wore her clothes.
You soon found yourself sitting out on the balcony of your apartment with your girlfriend. The sun was shining; it was going to be a beautiful day. You practically inhaled the pancakes Dahye had cooked up, topped with some delicious maple syrup. After finishing your breakfast, you snuggled closer to your girlfriend on the bench youâd bought after you first moved in together. The sound of birds and the light traffic below put you at ease as Dahye wrapped her arm around you to pull you into her side. It was at times like these where you felt your future was clear, you knew you were destined to spent the rest of your years with Dahye by your side
âI really do love you Y/N.â It was clear your girlfriend was feeling the same. You leaned over and kissed her, both of you smiling into the soft gesture.
âI love you too, Dahye, I really, really do.â You replied, your eyes scanning each one of your girlfriendâs stunning features. You couldnât help but kiss her again, feeling like you two were the only people on the planet at that very moment. Your heart blossomed as you took up your position snuggled into Dahyeâs side once again.
You had always been sceptical about the idea of having a soulmate, just one person who was made for you, always unsure if you would find your perfect match. However, all your doubts left your mind as soon as you had met Dahye. Every single day affirmed your feelings, and you knew that she was the one for you. No one would ever make you feel the way she does.
True love is so very real, and you thank the gods above every single day that you get to spend your days with Dahye. You two were made for each other, anyone can see it.
So, there you were, sitting with the love of your life in the middle of a beautiful city, admiring the way the world revolves around you both. You know in your heart you wouldnât trade this experience for anything in the world, and it filled you with complete joy to know that Dahye felt the same.
