Am I the only one who thinks Heleana is aro/ ace? Like, she adores her children but she hates Aegon😅 Sometimes I ship her with Jace & Baela tho, some others with Aemond so I don't really know. But aroace ppl have loving relationships with others as well so all these things apply?

As a Lucemond shipper primarily, I wanted to share my opinion on mostly Alysmond, a little on Heleamond & to soothe some ppl who are too easily goated to internet fights that are just stupid imo. Why spread hate? (Bc it happens in Tiktok & Twitter)

I'm a very casual shipper in the way that I try my best to be polite and not shame on other people's ships. I accept multiple ships with the same character very often, as most of you must do as well.

(In this case, we have Aemond.)

I have read fics with all three pairings out of curiosity and there are good ff for each pairing. I have even left praising comments on various fics, especially when I like the writing,

and what I wanted to say is

while I mostly read Lucemond, (the angst is top tier in AU fics, but I'm not here to talk about that, you'll understand if you search carefully for the right stories on your own)

Heleamond also has very tender fics, bc Heleana's character is inherently a gentle soul and I believe ppl who ship it like writing/ reading ab Aemond's softer side. And for that I respect them.

and now Alysmond.

This ship can be rlly interesting bc:

If the showrunners put work at it and make Alys more of a dimensional character instead of the 'seductress witch' cliché, she can be more nuanced. Like yes, I bet the 'witch' will be an aspect of her character but not the only aspect.

(Like, that woman was the only survivor of her House and then Aemond took her as a war prize. She must feel something besides 'oh, I'm going to seduce him to stay alive' which is, of course, perfectly understandable as a course of action given the situation she was in, the situation that Aemond caused. But anything that this woman feels, I want to see it on TV eventually. Also it will be interesting seeing a woman having the upper hand and the experience in a relationship bc of how older she is from her partner, like reverse Daemyra,and how the audience will interpret that? Will she be manipulative? Will they be both desperate and seek comfort in each other? Will she stab him in the back? Will there be a bit of romance as well?Who knows? And I really want to see it.)

I think my only reservation with Alysmond is that we haven't seen Alys yet and viewers tend to be 'suspicious' at new characters that appear in upcoming seasons bc we haven't warmed up to them.
