it's this ... 'trend' (?) where women ask (usually) their boyfriends/brothers/male friends etc (basically just. men they're close to) how often they think about the roman empire and a lot of women started doing it and most men said like a few times a week to once a month, so basically fairly often for something that was so long ago and isn't very much talked about in people's day to day conversations (i mean at least i think so???) and then a few days ago i saw a post about trying to figure out what the 'girl version' of the roman empire is and i've seen quite a few posts like that now and it's just so fucking annoying like woohoo more things to assign to sexes! men think about war and society and women think about taylor swift👍👍👍 (not made up. i saw a post like that. genuinely.)
